| Subterfuge: A week-long, undersea strategy game
Not very often I find myself super excited about a phone game, but this looks like something really special. I was first made aware of it by Matt Lees and co, and I recommend watching an episode or two of this video diary. That should be enough to tell you whether this is something you want to try out. The concept really tickles me, and I had a little poke around with the game today with my family. There's a free version which seems completely sufficient, even if there is some Nintendo-esque jumping through hoops to start a game. Once you're in, though, I don't see any reason to spend a penny!
Anyway, have a peek; I'd love to get a few GNamerans into a big undersea war. |

| That video diary series is excellent stuff & if I had a phone currently that could run the game I'd be well up for a GNamer sub war. |

| I'll need to check this out - I didn't quite grasp what it's all about from the trailer, but I reckon it'll be something you pick up through playing it. |

| The Cool Ghost vids were a lot more useful than anything official I've seen. With you two, Muss, myself, my parents and my brother we'd only be two away from a full 8 - man game. |

| Over skype Andy reminded me that I could try to get this on my ipod touch earlier but I just checked & sadly I need to have iOS 7 or higher to run it, I'm still on iOS 6. |

| It seems to be really buggy on iOS. I'm using an Ipad, which i think runs version 7.whatever. I have to write out messages fast because the game constantly crashes when on a messaging screen. It's not that I'm even running any other apps while I use subbers.
Shouldn't say too much about our game here, but it's definitely intriguing so far. |

| I think I'm panicking far too much. I hate this game already! Can't wait to see how it progresses. |

| So jealous that I'm missing out on this even though I get the feeling I'd be terrible at it, at least I have the cool ghosts diaries & the latest one was a belter! |

| I am freaking the fuck out about this game, and I love it. I was a proper recluse at lunch today being a pocket diplomat. It's draining though - I don't think I could have multiple games on the go at once, or even playing multiple games back to back. Will need a wee break after this one.
I'd love to get a GNamer only game on the go - I don't know anything about a couple of the lads in this game, and I think having an idea of how the other players might act is an additional bonus to this. |

| Yeah I need a break after this! Regardless of how it all plays out the GNamers should have some sort of skype chat or something about it all later |

| This game is absolutely ruining me as a human being. I'm gonna write something a bit bigger about it, but there was a missile crisis between my brother and me, still is really, and it's eating away at my sanity |

| I'm not sure we'll be talking, let alone podcasting Naa, could be fun, especially hearing some of the thinking behind the play. |

| A Subterfuge post-mortem would be really interesting... although I'll think there'll be words shared between us all. |

| I'm all the way up for a 4-man podders with a particularly interesting "what we've been playing". Also, I wrote a thing about the most significant moment in the game for me so far.

| Great post Drunka. Gutted I haven't been taking screenshots during this endgame - I could write a hefty article about how stressed out I am about it. |

| Ah, can you go that far back? Might do that afterwards to detail the endgame - I feel it'd make for a hell of an article. |

| Yeah, you can rewind the whole thing. Pretty sure a lot of the footage from Subterfuge diaries comes from after, and then you can even see what others are up to so definitely worth playing around with.
Enjoyed your article Drunka, this game has had so many awesome moments, but bloody hell I'm exhausted of playing it. |

| I think our game has definitely dragged on a little too long but I wonder how much of that is due to:
A) It being a 6 player game
or
B1) Luke and I, at the very least, thinking the game would end at the culmination of day 7 and thereby attacking earlier, leading to...
B2) 4 of those players basically taking each other out of contention before what became the end game. |
