| Has anybody used PS Now? I'm not sure whether my Internet is fast enough, but tempted to try the 7 day trial. There's a ton of games I'd like to play on PS3 although the £12.99 a month subscription is off-putting unless I literally just played old games.
Anyone tried this service before? |

| I don't rate PS Now, it dropped too often for us & games just feel off on it. |

| I've used it at a friends and it was really good, had zero problems with connection and were switching between lots of old Neo-Geo games for the multiplayer.
It all comes down to connection speed |

| I've always wanted to give, Catherine, a go and as it seems to only be available on PS NAO! For the PS4, I reckon I'll give it a bash in the near future. I'll write how it goes in here if I remember.
From what I've heard the quality of experience is subject to the genre of game you're playing. Anything requiring timing or precision is much more likely to be a mare than some traditional JRPG. I recall some of the critics whose videos I watched on the service saying it was fine for the latter, but not worth it at all for the former, and they were presumably using much better broadband than what I'd have had in Scumerset at the time. |

| Echoing what others have said - if your connection is up to scratch, and if you're okay with a bit of input lag, you should be okay. I would try and avoid games that'll need you to have twitch reactions. |

So did we in the village I used to live in. On a good day we'd get a stable 300kbs download speed for about an hour. Broadband companies really don't give a toss about the countryside. It literally took me an entire week to download batman city off of steam. That's genuinely not an exaggeration |

| I've never had a issue but that might because I'm near Taunton and not proper countryside.
As I'm getting Download Speed of 49.5MB and Upload of 18.6MB |

| Really as you only need like 3MB, I think and why I never had any real issues with NOW whilst using as like I posted I'm way above that.
This is the future some are telling me the whole always online or online only or streaming and you guys all live in the UK and populated areas not in the middle of nowhere in Kazakhstan where all that would be a issue. |

Not for another 10 years at least. I know family who live in villages that have just got broadband - I see in areas of Bristol there are posters campaigning to GET fibre optic. Many people buy broadband/TV packages for convenience/price. There's also the fact that having to be online is a massive pain - look at Super Mario Run, or Microsoft's Xbox One plans. One of the biggest problems this generation has been having 50GB+ installation files on console games - videogames have come on so quickly that they have begun overtaking the phone network's ability to keep up. The government needs to sort it out nationally (like how South Korea have done). |

| If streaming games is the future it's a distant one, Internet is not reliably fast enough and even when it is fast there's a certain input lag that will always remain over having the game running locally. Online games & games which need quick reflexes simply won't work well via streaming until there are massive changes to the infrastructure. |
