Snipperclips (Sounds Painful)

Looks adorable!  Yup I'm acquiring this.  Pretty sure making the blonde's cute noises is obligatory while playing this as well.

Also: some of the filthiest dialogue I've ever heard on Treehouse.

I love the fact you can troll each other whilst playing - more games should allow you to piss off your mates when you're meant to be playing co-op.

Early contender for best party game on switch.

This is 100000 times more exciting a prospect than 1-2-Switch. Even though it looks like it's probably a big euphemism.

Seems like it could be a laugh.

Is it local multiplayer only? A co-op session with this online would be a dream and a great selling point for Ninty's online service.

I can see this being the kind of game I'd have loved playing with my ex-wife.

A couple of days ago a Tired Old Hack article on this appeared. Chris has exactly the same thoughts as me on it: non-gamers might be able to play Snipperclips.

Have they mentioned if this has online co-op or not? I'm a lonely sod IRL, but I'd love to play through this with one of you lot.

I've not seen them mention that anywhere so I'm going to say it'll be local play only.

I'm in the same boat as Jay, could possibly play with EofGiz but doubt it would get much play.

I'm hoping I'll be able to sort out a local friend to Scissor with (cheers for that Scullo) but that is a bit of a shame.
On some podcast or other they mentioned this has been confirmed for release day, is that truths?

I'm hoping I can get a whole bunch of people around the flat (or bring the Switch round theirs!) to play this. Not even with me joining in, either: I think I'd have a lot of laughs watching two of my friends, or even my parents, trying to complete the goals and failing embarrassingly.

The approach you'd probably have to adopt reminds me of playing Four Swords Adventures and/or Crystal Chronicles on the GameCube: near-constant discussion of what you're doing or ideas you've had, etc. Should be good stuff!

Bumping because nobody else has. The other must-have at launch, it would seem. I've got two very long train journeys that are going to fly by. So happy this is out for launch.

As I've said elsewhere, this is a 100% purchase for me (albeit probably a week late).

One of the first things I did with my Switch was download this demo. My brother and I bashed through it last night, and it was brilliant. The demo is infuriatingly short, because this was incredible fun. I'll definitely be bagging this one, and fingers crossed I can find a friend to play through with in a nice big session.

Sounds like ideal GNamer Forum Meetup fodder. Particularly when we're all nicely drunk.

This is a really great party game, definitely worth a purchase. Huge capacity for shenanigans!

I downloaded this on launch day. Pretty good, only used the multiplayer, and my flatmates have had a good time mucking about with it.

Had a bash on this today and rocked through the first two worlds with a mate - cracking stuff. After we got over the initial "let's cut each other up for no reason haw haw haw" moments (...which never really stopped, actually), there were some genuinely great puzzling moments. The expressions on the Snipperclip dudes were hilarious too.

Yep, they absolutely never stopped. Tremendous fun, this. And you're not wrong about the expressions, or the noises. To quote Hugh Laurie, 'Sounds a bit RUDE!'
