Yesterday I Bought (a bad pun) for 3!

I don't know if you'll get on with Miitopia, Cappa. It's not got that inherent silliness that's found in Tomodachi Life and the RPG battling is too simple for how long the game is and grows pretty boring towards the end. You'll get a few hours out of it though before wanting to pack it in, I'd imagine.

These three were £15, which is around about the eBay price plus I have two of the demo discs that would have come with two of these.

Then today I got


Pokken I picked up to eBay as it was £4.99 from GAME as the one I went to had in the corner two clearance bins with things like power discs for Disney Infinity but also DS, Wii, Wii U and VITA games which had even more than the 50% off that PS360 games had on the shelf.

Pokken, for instance, was marked up at £22.99, then you'll see in the picture Odin Sphere cart only for VITA that I paid £2.50, at that price I had to have it even cart only.

Things like NBA were 98p, Assassins Creed something £3, Bayo 2 £4.99 and other things like that on Wii U the rest of the games on all the consoles were like of FIFA or My Dog Coach: Understand Your Dog with Cesar Millan.

Power Rangers games I got on eBay a few days ago for £2. WWE DoR2 in CEX for £8 it is missing the manual that I was going to leave it, but the guy who served me noticed the memory card in the case which was a nice little bonus that I decided still to get it.

Digimon on Cube from the retro shop which was £22 and the DVD set from HMV for £15 which I'll start watching as soon Balla says we're starting the watch along, still this the first DVD I've bought for about 13 years which is a tad crazy.

Bought a load of stuff over the last week.



Pandemonium 2 was the most expensive of the lot, at £18 in CEX. I played it, then took it back - it's not aged very well. All the 360 games were £2 in GAME, except London 2012, which was 50p in Sue Ryder. So was THUG 2, and Sudoku Master, which has the old first-party Nintendo seal on it. MX 2002 was pure nostalgia, purely for it's very, very, very 2001 soundtrack.



Remember that rack of Nintendo games that my local GAME had, the photo I put on the Random Retro Thoughts thread? They got more Wii U games in! I picked those up for a fiver each, and the other two for £2 each. Not bad!

I was wondering when you said about £2 Xbox 360 and PS3 games that most are less than that anyway due to the 50% off but I know what you mean now.

As part of Argos' '2 for £15' offer on certain Switch games. They've both taken a big of a critical hammering, but I liked them both well enough on SNES and Mega Drive.

Tetris Effect for £15 sounds like a great buy, been eyeing that up for a while.

I saw a fair bit when I was knocking around Akihabara. Splatoon and Monster Hunter are the dangerous ones - I feel compelled to buy everything I see because in my head it's rare and hard to find . . . but it actually isn't at all here.

Not sure when I will get to this as I've got the first to play and from what I sort of hear it's more of the same that might be too much to go from one to the other right away.

The I don't talk downloads often but I did buy a rather big one in NieR: Automata BECOME AS GODS Edition for Xbox One and from the big in Japan Sale Daggerhood & Monster Monpiece for VITA.

@Drunka I was looking at Digimon toys on eBay, they can be expensive now in good condition also does remind at boot sales I should look for Digimon, TMNT, MMPR etc things but I don't.

Give it a break between Galaxies, I would. Galaxy 2 is tremendous, and I prefer it, but it is more of the same +.

He's adorable and I won't hear your lies saying otherwise.

SMG2 is one of the best games ever made, but so is SMG1. Put 2 on the shelf and finish the first one, and then get 2 out a year later. I made the mistake of having both of them on the go and I can't tell you which levels are in which game because they felt like one big awesome blast of platforming perfection. Rather than two.

I never knew that Billy Hatcher had a digital release! It's a good game, unusual too, but it's got that same polish that all the best Sonic Team games have.

That was a fiver in GAME. I'd never played any version of Minecraft before this one.

No one cares about PC though, Cappa.

I've also never played Minecraft, doubt I will even though I have it on PS3 and VITA.

Talking of VITA, I've bought another one. This wasn't really planned but would liked to have a OLED and set-up as a American account.

Anyway went into GAME and if you remember I bought a cheap PS3 and 360, at the time 3DS family and VITA's were full price still.

Well now those are also cheap that I got a boxed Slim VITA for £48 and could have got a 2DS for £25 or a boxed New 2DS XL for £60 but as those region locked wasn't sure what I would do with them.

That's because it didn't (cue the FBI knocking on my door). I found a site that has downloads of long lost PC games that aren't on Steam, and Billy Hatcher did receive a physical release a few years after the Gamecube one.

Little CEX browse this afternoon and came home with these three, for a mere £6. Would have had Ninja Gaiden 2 as well but it's £15!!! They are very cheeky when a game becomes backwards compatible on Xbox One.



Looking forward to trying DOA5 as it has some Virtua Fighter characters in it.

It happens all the time and before GAME decided to get rid of last gen where doing it and same on eBay etc

Some have kept there increased value but I know I've been caught with Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy but it does come down to supply & demand.
