Thanks Balla, I'll properly respond to this via the forum as opposed to the shorter discord reply. This was the first birthday I've worked for a while as there didn't seem much point in staying off when my wife was working, one of the children had school and the other one sleeps a couple of hours through the day and has no concept of birthdays. It wasn't too bad all in all though, I don't get much in the way of presents anymore but an excuse to have a slightly fancier tea and big chocolate cake is always welcome.

A fancy tea can make up for a lot, that is true.  Glad you had something to make the day special!
