28th Black Mirror - PS4, ONE, PC
30th The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR Edition - PSVR Syberia II - NS
My Thoughts: Lot for Switch with Sonic Forces, LA Noire (maybe on PS4), Battle Chasers (if it comes out), LEGO Marvel 2, RIME, Syberia II (if I get the first) all tempt me along with one other which should be coming to the EU but I can't confirm so is listed in the Best of the Rest as an import.
Skyrim Switch is the only one I'm 100% getting on day one with DOOM going to be picked up on PS4 to be part of conversation.
On the everything that isn't Switch - Hack might have tempted me but I've still got RPG's to play and will have to play on Switch and PS4, Super Lucky might be decent little platformer but after Mario and simliar time of Sonic means it's very unlikely I'll get that, FM18 maybe in a sale, if I still had a PSVR then Inpatient would have been a must buy.

30th RES+ Royal Blue NES Retro-Bit Superbeat: Xonic - eShop Super Retro Trio Plus HD Royal Blue Retro-Bit My Thoughts: I will see Pokemon but not till it's in the home. The Horizon DLC looks great but I'm still to finish the actual game and is one of my plans to do so when I'm on holiday.
I've got the Champion amiibo on order along with Baby Driver, Spider-Man, Valerian all in 4K with Apes & T2 awfully tempting.
Will go see Justice League then come home and binge Punisher.
On the games front did anyone play that Star Ocean on PS3? also it has a silly title, I will get Res Evil and it's meant to come to the EU at the same time but can find almost zero on it.

That's a brace of mas's Stuff This Month titles, lads. You'd better stop me getting a hat-trick.
Definites are: LA Noire, Skyrim, New Style Boutique 3, Paddington 2, Justice League (please let it be good, please, please, please...) and Spider-Man Homecoming, the latter for Christmas. Possibilities are Sonic Forces and Telltale Batman Season One. The former will be a definite if it reviews well (but it might have to be post-Christmas); the latter will join the ranks of my Switch games if it's priced cheaply enough.

Sonic Forces is like £28, I think from a post from Cappa.
Batman was good when, I played it on PS4. Only question would be if it's more buggy on Switch then elsewhere.

Wow, that's an unexciting month. Makes October much easier to swallow I guess. I'm interested in CoD, Battlefront and NFS though I'm not exactly desperate for either. I was thinking of picking up Pokemon for Christmas but I might need it a little sooner than expected.

Fairly dead for me as well. All the more chance to play SMO and write, therefore! Might ask for Skyrim as a Chrimbo present. RiME a remote possibility.

Hi everyone, just to let you all know I'm doing a post.
I'm going to probably get Rime at some stage, and maybe Skyrim.
God bless

Just after LA Noire & Doom but I'll likely wait to pick those up towards the end of November.

Have the two Pokemon Games on pre-order and looking to pick up DOOM too but everything else I think I'll leave until a more free/less expensive time of year. Also got the Champions Amiibo pre-ordered for hot cake reasons and going to see the Pokemon Movie.

I'll be all over DOOM and I wouldn't mind gathering my friends and going to see Pokémon.

Let me know if you're doing that as I'm on holiday the two days it's being shown in UK Cinema's.
The inner weeb in me commands I purchase hack//G.U.
Oh wait I don't got no money for it, never mind. Busy in Novermber chewing through my backlog and participating in the next Kaiba Cup tournament in Duel Links anyway, I honestly have no time for new games right now that hasn't already been reserved by those things.

If you are a fan of the grappling then WWE 2K18 which seemingly disappeared on Switch, will be coming out I believe on the 21st of November.

I feel that's something better suited to the PS4 for me anyway and I have my doubts about the Switch version after NBA

I've heard nothing bad about NBA on Switch and only good compared to FIFA part from both lacking Multiplayer Online with friends.

Wasn't NBA 2K18 on Switch a technical mess? Scene transitions and lip-syncing were mega-inconsistent, if I remember NL's comments...

It was mess elsewhere as well though and I have a mate who buys and plays it religiously.

That's basically what I heard, it may be the same on other consoles too but when there's so much on Switch that is technically sound and a good fit for the consoles then this definitely isn't at the top of my list.

Yeah for sure, I get that games feel like Switch games and others don't, unless it is like Zero with FIFA, you want a NBA or wrestling game.
It's why I'm on the fence where to possibly get LA Noire.

I think NBA got a massive patch that fixed the issues. Actually no, I know it - that review and its lack of score was the centre of a Scullionstorm that got its own podcast, so irritated was he at the response. He and Nintendo Life have given the fixed version 8/10.

This is so interesting to me. Patches and updates can change a game radically: first-day Splatoon and Super Bomberman R were very different from their current forms. That leaves the early reviews out of date; I would say that those need updating too. Good on yer man Scullion for sticking to his guns on this.

The thing is with more and more games going service based, how do you review them.
The guys behind PUBG for instance have said that's the game and they'll just add new modes, maps, equipment etc do reviewers maybe look at games like TV.
Day One is Episode One then comeback in a year and look back on the past year / season.
Might be something for random gaming but then I would like this be for chat on games.

I'd think you would agree with him, Drunka, but if you dinnae want to listen to an hour or so of rant then I can't blame you for steering clear.

If the opportunity arises, you might want to let him know. You or 'the GNamer Forum Twitter'. He got quite upset about it.

Was it Jim Sterling or someone who also brought it up as someone from a PlayStation site gave it like a 2/10 and 2K was going to black list the site.

I definitely agree with him, but Chris' podcasts where he spends an hour moaning about wanting to just talk about games, instead of just talking about games, reallllly bore me to tears. I prefer some Louise on a Scullicast.
