PM Pop-Up

A little problem I have with this site is that I never know when I get PMs (or MPs, or what have you). The icon change from "no" to "1" is almost unrecognisable.

I was wondering if anybody else has the same problem: and if so, whether they want the functionality enabling a PM pop-up window to appear when you have one enabled. It might be useful, or it might be annoying. I presume that most people have pop-up blockers anyway, so you'll just get a "blocked" message.

I like the idea of members of parliament popping up randomly, it could be the start of a new bloodsport...

I'd just use it to PM people I can see are reading the site to annoy them, so no.

Best to keep em off I think.

It's not something that's personally troubled me, as my eyes automatically sweep the top of the forum every time I head back to the main board anyway. Personal preference, obviously.
