| This is Nicalis, so it may never make it out UK-side, but... come on. It's basically Nicalis and Indie Friends Smash Bros./Street Fighter. You're looking for the end of this cinematic and very anime trailer. I can't say I know everyone here, but the ones I do are pretty cool (even if I don't like their games). Also here is some gameplay. Nicalis you are not good at female characters. Anyone up for this? Or at least interested? It's got playable Shovel Knight in, that's got to work for some people! |

| Not for me. It looks very nice and will be mechanically sound no doubt. The constant high-pitched 'ahh, ahh, ooohhhahhhh's' from any and all female characters annoyed me though, and that's not a good sign for a 1 minute gameplay demo. Maybe that's a misrepresentation of the roster as a whole, or maybe I could play it on mute if enough forumites were up for this, but I'll probably skip it. |

| Very fun idea, but probably won't go in for it. A fighting game needs either a big time investment or a buddy to spar with, neither of which I imagine I'll have on this occasion. |

| It looks okay but we know that the Switch is or will get better fighting games, even this month is the Street Fighter 30th anniversary collection. |

| Despite having characters I really like in there I'll pass on this one, only Switch fighting game I have a real interest in is Pocket Rumble. |

| That giant cat character is brilliant. I'm not too sure about this one - I saw some footage of Isaac scrapping with someone and it looked REALLY rough, and like Drunka said, without a dedicated sparring partner I've little interest in getting properly into fighting games. Neat idea, though. |

| Damning, sirs, damning! But yes, I must admit I just went 'Indie Smash Bros.!!!!!' without actually looking much at how the fighting was. I'm not actually that good at fighting games, so it may well not be for me either - which is a shame, as I really like the look of the game (Nicalis' women aside - Muss ain't wrong). - masofdas wrote:

I refuse to even compare the two, one being a rehash of classic games and one something entirely new. Unless SFV is included in there, natch. |

| I showed my girlfriend the gameplay footage. She said if she'd heard me playing this through my door, she'd have assumed I was watching some bad porn I'd be very interested in an indie smash-bros! Smash is always better with company, but as long as the AI is reasonable, I've always managed to find plenty of fun in single-player. If the game was more that way inclined I would be much more interested for sure. |

| Street Fighter V is 2 years old Balla that nothing in it would be new (If SFV was in the collection) and I know you're not big on retro gaming but the reason I brought that collection up as I think fighting games out of any genre is about mechanics, why SFII is still played to this day and the big one which most on here have been saying is having people to play with online which you will have with the Street Fighter Collection.
Nicalis is also doing a Pocket Fighter clone with indie characters. |

| Aw man - can we pay half the price and just have Curly Brace and Shovel Knight? Fighting games aren't just about wibbly norks, kids. Although, if I was in charge of the "If" thread, I'd ask "If you were to create a Smash Bros.-style collaboration, what publisher / series / general theme would you base it on?". But I'm not. Plus we may have already asked this but with just developers. |
