This was a bit of a surprise. "Welcome to Kawawii Island, a paradise resort where friends and family can enjoy 50+ co-op and competitive activities". Welcome back, more like - I've been here before!

Yesterday, Nintendo of Europe announced that Go Vacation was to get a Switch remaster, and that it's coming out soon, on 27th July.
It looks like they're pushing it as a brand-new game, with no mention of it's Wii origins on the game's profile on Nintendo's official site. That's well cheeky if you paid £40 for it in November 2011 like I did. Still, four players on one system, split Joy-Con play, new marine fishing, mountain fishing and photography modes and updated motion controls are promised, as well as everything that was there before.
I think this could have a good amount of success, as it's quite slickly put together, offers plenty of content and is a type of game that seems underrepresented on Switch. Mind you, what was impressive in 2011 might be utter baws in 2018, so I'll be waiting to see how far Namco Bandai take this remaster. How about youse - is anybody interested in Go Vacation?
