| My fellow GNamerans. The year of our Lord 2018 has come to its end, at least here in 日本 and it is with great joy that I usher in 2019. I have enjoyed a couple of drinks, played Resident Evil and Super Smash Bros., and made a wonderful and enriching trip to the temple. I apologise profusely that I have not become sufficiently inebriated so as to perform for you as the clown for which you have for so long taken me. |

2019 is ruined before it even began. Nah, hope everyone has good New Year's Eve and that we all kick off 2019 on the right foot. |

| He sounds even more sober than normal! Happy New Year, to GNamerians based in England, Scotland, Australia, Japan, and anywhere else. Last year was a bit static for me: I'm hoping I can move a bit in 2019 (not to Japan, mind). Hope that all of you who want to achieve something this year, achieve it! |

| I'm always up for adorable piggies. To coo over or to eat. |

I watched a documentary about life on the Nile and there was a particularly gut-wrenching moment where a little hog piglet wandered away from its mum and slept alone in Idi Amin's abandoned country lodge (look it up, loads of animals have taken up roost there). Whilst it was sleeping, a leopard crept up on the piglet... and sniffed it, and left it alone. Couldn't believe what I was watching - truly, this is the year of the boar. Or, erm, hog. |

| I've been at work for three days and I already hate everything! Hooray! Christmas was a bit of a mess - my Grandfather was going to come and stay over the Christmas period, but he stayed in a hospital instead He's back at his home now, but blimey, that was an unexpected holiday period.* This year I resolve to not bring any work home, and therefore find more time and willingness to be creative. I'll probably annoy you all with a lot of "look wot i did"; please bear with me. *Sorry, I sound unsympathetic, I appreciate that, but he's typically not been the best person to my mum's family... |

| If more free time and creative energy gets us threads like the Football Manager one, I'll all for it. |

| You've mentioned your grandpa beforehand, Jimbob, and I reckon you've got good reason for you lack of sympathy. We don't know what those reasons are, nor do we need to, but the way you've portrayed it makes me believe they're good ones. And yes, more creative projects of any sort are welcomed! That thread was one of my faves this year. I'd love to see any further gamey things you come up with, too. |
