Was some new stuff at TGA most notable being Hellblade II but can't see that being a 2020 game as it would have to launch on Series X basically

There's no chance that there's seven games for us each to draft that we'd actually want to draft. I've looked at that master games list, and it's not great reading - we'll be struggling after a few rounds. I'd prefer five drafts for now and seven pick-ups throughout 2020, if I've got a say in it.

I think we should keep the draft talk here to artificially boost post count and improve our SEO Juice. 1.5k for the month boys!

I probably haven't heard of 7 new games. Although I actually know which one I'm going to pick first. It's a stone-cold 7/10-er.

I can't just be me that's looking at that Master Games list and thinking 'the absolute state of 2020', can it? I've picked three games so far, three that I couldn't give a shite about. I didn't even know that there was an Avengers game being made by Square Enix, no clue.

I’m more optimistic about 2020 than this year. There are very few standout bangers, certainly no 10/10s. Looking at most of our first round picks that’s already looking great. I’m also assuming Nintendo will have something more, AC alone isn’t going to cut it.

2020 especially the first half looks fantastic but we've drafted those stand out games already, which might make this year more interesting as someone won't get the big games themselves.

Nintendo is lacking and the second half of the year, I think that's down to the PS5 & XSX coming out. Why I went for Halo Infinite as much like Gears 5 we can't have another bad one and it's launching alongside the XSX.

All of my picks are going to be odd. My first pick has a 0.5% chance of actually coming out.

OFs look pretty good, Nintendo looks lousy but we know they're keeping cards close to their chest. 2019 was a very good Nintendo year, if not great; I expect 2020 to be of similar calibre, but we'll need some Directs first!

Interesting point about 10/10s. My last 10/10 was... well Smash Ultimate in 2018, but that was riffing on twenty years of prior content. Agreed that there were none in 2019. Untitled Goose Game came closest IMO.

I don't believe in 10/10 as nothing is perfect but I did give Death Stranding a 9.5, could see a few of those be it Final Fantasy VII Remake or The Last of Us Part 2 or Cyberpunk to name a few being that.
