Well if you'd finished Travis Strikes Again you would have played the tiny teaser for NMH3 at the very end
I'm excited for this!
It's my own fault for watching Star Wars rather than playing Travis Strikes Again.

Gods and Monsters thread anybody? That looked potentially alright.

I definitely wouldn't call TSA a bad game. It's a flawed game, definitely, but you could edit it down into a solid experience. Pacing is probably its main issue.
I went back on Saturday to the DLC and had fun with it. Also there is explicit NMH3 foreshadowing in it, which obviously they break the fourth wall in calling out

I can only imagine how insane this must have been to watch live when you don’t know what’s coming. What a trailer!

The boredom wounds from Travis Strikes Again are still too fresh.

This'll surely be a completely different style of game though? Must say I didn't play TSA after its lukewarm reception, so I could be wrong.

Yeah I wouldn't say TSA* will be indicative of this game's quality really. Will have a completely different playstyle more reminiscent of prior numbered titles.
Trailer looks awesome.
*not saying it's bad as I haven't played it either, just seen gameplay and heard about it a lot

I think No More Heroes III will have a completely different playstyle from Travis Strikes Again right enough. Yet TSA was loaded with utterly terrible ideas, just batshit mental stuff that, if repeated, will ruin No More Heroes III for me. I'm very cautious about No More Heroes III, purely because of how off the mark Travis Strikes Again was.

I'm definitely excited
Those aliens appear in the TSA DLC, so I can confirm the plot is a direct continuation???
It's definitely going to play like 1 and 2

Aye, I thoroughly enjoyed that watching it live. The Akira bike slide through the fake logo... amazing.

We went over a year without adding anything to this thread, and still August 27th is ages away.
Still, it’s looking pretty good, and I can wait. I’m almost finished with the Wii copy of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle that Buskalilly got me for the Secret Santa, setting me up quote nicely for another big dod of No More Heroes in six months time.

I played through NMH again (still brilliant) and then NMH2 (not quite as good but also great) for the first time last year when they came to Switch. I am very, very excited for NMH3!
Loving the look of everything in the trailer, from the jobs in the style of the first game to the death glove skills feeling like the influence of Travis Strikes Again

This looks quality. Possibly the game I'm most excited for. Agreed with OR, the dull jobs returning are an odd plus!

Loved that; particularly the shot of TSA's metacritic If the Japanese physical versions are playable in English I am 100% getting the Killion Dollar box set.

The trailer as a whole went on for a bit long, when it really just needed the Metacritic shot. Banger.

Loved that trailer! I've never actually played the originals and I sadly missed out on the Limited Run Games physical release of the first two games, so I'd love it if we got a collection like that over in the West. Probably won't happen, but at least I can pick up the originals digitally if it comes to that.

I didn't realise it was coming out this week somehow, hence the lack of suitable tagline! I'll put one up over the weekend/on Monday. Suggestions welcome.
I don't know how I feel about NMH3, after seeing reviews. I feel like the gameplay is closer to 1, which I liked, than 2, which I didn't - but that I may have moved on from the general style of the games.
Suda says this'll be the last NMH. I think that's a bold call, but the right one.

I was on the Nintendo eShop and saw this and it's out!??!!
So anyway, I bought the trilogy set off Amazon. It's coming tomorrow.
