I had to double check on google that you hadn't put the ps5 upside down. A truly rotten console design that's up there with the worst.

I really like the design, it's not plain black box and in 2029 doubt look out of place.

2026 then or ever how long this gen lasts, sure be slim and likely pro versions by then but I like it because it looks futuristic, well when it's stood up not lying down like Dustys.

Especially compared to my Series X which just a boring black box, then it does it's job that doesn't really matter what they look like.

I love my boring black box, it sits there quite happily not being the centre of attention. When people come over they don't go - what the hell is that thing. It's nice.

I want one for it's function as there are a few things on it that I would like to play, although I'm not entered in any of those waiting lists for one so I guess it'll be a while until I get one!

I was googling about to see if any ps5 console mods had been happening and this guys water cooled build makes the normal ps5 look even more dull.

I... actually like the look of the PS5. Mind you, I like anything that isn't a black/white/grey monochrome box. My preferred Joy-Cons are the Splatoon ones.

I don't know clearly something about it as I think iRobot etc, and it's not just the console it's everything else such as the DualSense because of the design which I like.

Anyway PS5 might be off for me for a while (well I don't one till June 11th then E3 happening other games will be out, so would I even play it???) as I bought

The PS5 design has really grown on me since I've seen it every day in my living room, it absolutely has to be vertical though otherwise I think I'd be put off. The controllers however are a little annoying now as my sweaty hands can leave it looking a lot less like futuristic white than the console itself.

On the subject of new consoles, my Dad bought a Switch for himself the other week, the Monster Hunter one as well so I can now regretfully say my Dad has a cooler looking Switch than me.

Ooh, are you two going to play MHR together? Because that would be sweet. Give Baby Smurf a controller as well, get three generations playing together.

I very much doubt that, I found starting that game a chore and I really wanted to play it, I'll give it a try though, see if I'm good enough to carry him. Baby Smurf still likes to watch at the minute but she's nowhere near getting her head around controllers, she can play Pokémon Go quite well though.
