I learnt very quickly after my first few games that if you're alone with someone longer than 10 seconds then they're going to kill you, it's basically GTA online.

I've just watched Dusty's video in the Discord. Excellent stuff.

Funhaus uploaded a half hour video of them doing a real life version of Among Us which I enjoyed! They each got given lists of tasks they had to do, and activities set up around the office, gopros and camera operators - the works. I know a full half hour is a commitment but it's worth watching a bit because I think it's genuinely impressive!

Definitely a funny clip but the emergency meetings is where it's at.

Just a reminder that we'll be kicking off another Among Us session this evening from about 8/8.30, with some Jackbox as we wait for the numbers.

I think you were still playing when Cappa was dubbed the best Amongst Us player in the world but after our final game of the night, which was shown in Dusty's video on the discord, Andy might be vying for his crown.

I'm really big on this now, I quite enjoyed it the first time I played but now I feel it's Jackbox levels of fun.

It's a fun little game for sure. I think I was better at it with smaller groups

Annoyingly, I cut my session short to go on a 66km hike through the mountains to the next city over, but when I got into the mountains there was a big sign saying not to use this road in the winter. I did go on a little bit, but there were a whole bunch of boar tracks and even a set of bear tracks. So I had to turn around and go home.

I still ended up hiking 38km, though.

We tweaked the rules a bit after you left Buska. We turned off eject confirms, so when a crewmate is punted off the ship you can't tell if they were the imposter or not.

This added a nice layer of tension to things and made the imposter's job a bit easier without making it too easy. It also meant that the tactic of "vote player x off, who sus'd player y. If x = crewmate, vote off y" didn't really hold anymore.

The crew still won most of the time but we had quite a few games that went down to the wire.

When someone says something about using the vents it does make it a lot easier for the crew to figure out who the imposter is though.

That's a nice touch, that basically adds a second way for the impostor to get kills. I guess that's why you changed to the big willies game?

Nah, the big willies came out when the number of players dropped to 7 or less.

The host can edit all the game rules from the lobby except the number of impostors and what map you're using.

Amongst Us still makes me laugh.

I don't think there's anything more frustrating than watching a game spiral out of control when you get killed early. I was basically screaming into the void on that game where Andy bamboozled you all.

He bamboozled me by killing someone right in front of me, and then getting me to blame someone else for it...

I blame you for asking everyone to come with you to finish your tasks, there was no way he would have got me or Muss if we stayed around the meeting table, I'd already spent about 3 minutes dodging him around a table in a previous game.

That reminds me of Cappa accusing me of being an impostor and saying "he followed me for a really long time with the air of someone who didn't know the button to actually kill me", and he was 100% correct.

People were suspicious of me at that stage, if you'd have stayed at the table, you'd have been convinced to vote me off.

I suppose that might be my fault for jokingly saying it was you after voting someone else off...
