What was good? I got a code and got me like 200 views on YT

What was less good? I want to know why the Waifu's are on the island

What was bobbins? Hit detection

Would I recommend it? No, unless you want an easy platinum or weird


What was good? Story, Characters, Visuals, Combat basically everything

What was less good? Not a lot

What was bobbins? Can't think of any memorable music

Would I recommend it? Yeah easily, one of the best games I've played this year, that even I bothered to do side quests


What was good? Silly fun with Aloy

What was less good? Only like 4 levels really

What was bobbins? Short, it took like 6hrs to finish, but I did go for the platinum which took longer then the actual game as I had to grind out levels of all four characters

Would I recommend it? On a sale maybe for like sub £35, or I don't know if Smurf really wants to play CO-OP with his kids

What was good? Shooting was fun, the whole music conecpt is neat and with the hell setting all works well

What was less good? More of a me one as I don't know any of the singers on the tracks

What was bobbins? Same boss at the end of every level

Would I recommend it? Feel this a Jas game, and is still on Plus at the moment which is why I tried it

Metal Hellsinger is definitely a Jas game, loved it & I really need to try the other rhythm fps games that are out there. (like BPM & Robobeat)

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Haven't even started yet as waiting for the Pro to arrive and not an auto-pop like Andy thought as it doesn't work properly & I never had the platinum to begin with. Also, surely want to play the game that even if I did have the plat on PS4 & save (do have), I be starting my adventure with Aloy from start anyway

Assassin's Creed Shadows, not sure why I went for this umm guess because it was coming out, and I could imagine a list in my head for the Plat

With all that said I did Platinum Dragon Age The Veilguard because it's that darn good of a video game and it might be one of my favs, so maybe I'll come dressed as an Elf

Hey you all know Zelda Echoes of Wisdom - I did enjoy it and thought it was mega-charming; there might be a bit too much chatter, but in general, no-one does a cast of lovable NPCs like Nintendoes. It actually felt a bit tough at the beginning, how easily you progress really depends on which echoes you manage to snap up early. But TBH quite happy about breezing through stuff towards the end. And I really enjoyed solving problems in whatever way was possible (despite me always pressing the wrong button to get the echoes menu up - and very rarely using Follow and forgetting it was a thing - and NEVER using the mechanical doodads, not sure what I missed out there), and the game seemed to be as happy with me solving things the "wrong" way as I was. Review score 975/1022 adjusted for inflation

Oh despite all the echoey stuff, it's simple enough that my Mum in her 60s has had a go and is currently looking for stuff to do before the final boss.

Also - Thank Goodness You're Here! - Occasionally slides into "a bit much" and the nob euphemisms aren't quite as clever as the notes and idle conversations happening in the background, but they are a good laugh, and in general it was my sort of thing - a kind of semi-casual idle explore-a-thon, where the game is "completed" by discovering the next easter egg. Kind of like... do you remember the first batch of educational CD-ROMs? (probably not, you're too young) they were full of "click on this and a stupid animation happpens". But better than that. Anyway review score 8/10 bob. If I thought it was worth starting a new project, my ideal game I'd make would be a cross between Animal Well and Thank Goodness You're Here.

Oh I also completely forgot about Follow and never used the mechanical doo-dads.  It wasn't the smoothest game operationally speaking I don't think - but it was a very nice game.  Easily my GotY, albeit mostly through lack of competition.

I think I do remember those CD-ROMs!  Or similar things to them anyway.  TGYH definitely a fun prod-em-up but I agree about "a bit much".

Also this forum now has the picture for Waifu Impact 2 in the top row of pictures and it's actively making me want to come here less.


The Lady and I finished Cat Quest 3 and I would give it a high 6/10 as a local co-op experience, breezy fun but not as refined for co-op as 2 and also just quite a bit smaller.  But they've just released quite the suite of free DLC on PC and that might fix my second complaint à la Storyteller.  Eh.  Score Pending I guess.
