After discovering that both the Asian and Japanese versions of the retail game come with actual English language options, I decided to import this in physical form and ignore the PSN release. This marks my first import Vita game. Woo!

Anyone played it?

Nice buy!

I gave Dokuro a go this weekend and it's a charming puzzler, though to get the most out of it (in terms of raging less than myself) you probably need to get set in its rules and ways. The princess is extremely thick and set to continuously walk to the right in the absence of danger which can lead to a lot of trouble, but once you've got that sorted it's great fun trying to figure out its various conundrums.

It also introduces a new concept in each world, which keeps things fresh.

Yep, I've got the boxed version as well, although I've only played the first few levels. As Sporkhead says, quite charming. Grin

From what I've see, I do like the art style. Do you make Dokuro jump with finger swipes? From what I've read, it uses an analogue + touchscreen interface, or is it a 'stop moving to do stuff with the touchscreen and jump with the X button' sort of game?

I haven't tried that yet - but the X button jumps and square attacks. Touchscreen's generally used for drawing in the game world, Okami-style (you have different crayons, each of which manipulate the world in varying ways).

I've had to postpone my order temporarily due to drained funds. Boo!
