A Third Thread in Which To Share Gaming Music - What does "official" even mean in an independent forum with like 20 users?

Is there such a thing as a "Sega musical aesthetic"? I think those really adhere to that - as do the Penny's pieces above. Astrum's my favourite of the bunch, especially the opening.

Here are two very similar pieces of music from games I've played recently.

I think I may be fully on board the Bakeru train - or Bakeru tea kettle as it may be. If you don't have time to try out all three tracks, my preferred order is 1 < 3 < 2 - 2 is a proper banger that I didn't expect.

In the interest of getting somebody (anybody) else to talk in here - has anybody else tried the Nintendo Music App? It's obviously not very complete right now, but it has Pokémon SV and Mario Galaxy and that's a decent starting basis.

I've fired it up a little actually, and I reckon I'll get good use out of it. I like a bit of Nintendo music on at times where I don't want to listen to a podcast or taylor swift, and I'm more likely to use this than actually download stuff, and it works better than youtube.

It has resulted in me having the Mochi dance music from the SV epilogue stuck in my head all day though.

It's got a good base for a great app, they just need to avoid drip feeding the music like they do everything else.

Yeeeeeeeeep they're definitely doing that. Look at how many games are missing from the start selection. Look how they added the SNES Donkey Kong Countries without adding Returns and Tropical Freeze. Sigh.

It's the Loyal Three theme for me. From DLC I never even played.
