Look at this shiftless arsehole who's set their alarm for 7:30am

And then got up at 7:50!
I'm all about getting one of these. Mercy finds the sploshing and splatting sounds from Splatoon really gross so I can't wait to fill our house with them

I hate to sound like a Nintendo Shill.... but i actually really like the idea of this. I think £89.99 might be a little steep to persuade the Mrs its not a waste of money but can you put a price on the Great Fairy audio from Ocarina of time playing everytime we move near the bed? i think not

I like it and I'll inevitably get one (though, slight dilemna: I have an online subscription on my UK account, not my Japan one) but there were times previously in my life when I would have had much more need for an alarm that refuses to stop until I definitely get out of my bed. These days, I do okay and besides, I have a day job that doesn't require me to arrive before 10AM on my "early" day.

Oh dear, I'm the miserable person who hates this. I've deliberately left my alarm as "default" as opposed to picking my favouritest song on Spotify; I know that, if I wake up "on the wrong side of bed" I'm just going to be resentful of that song and its attempts to cheer me up. I used to have a Star Trek the Next Generation alarm clock when I was about 13/14, as probably the most miserable period of my life, and it made things 100 times worse. Also, currently single - in the event that changes, I'd really have to stop Pauline / Zelda trying to wake me up, as I bet that gives a terrible impression

I probably would have agreed with you at those other times in my life which I mentioned above. Now, though, I tend to be waking up at times I'm pretty agreeable to. But that just means the tech of it insisting I get out of bed is less helpful! There are days when whatever is wrong with my brain gets the better of me, and at those times I guess it'll be worthwhile.
