Oh bugger I completely forgot to actually register on the damn site! I'm really sorry gents, November is always manic for me and actually pressing yes to the draw skipped my mind.  Absolutely biffed it.  If Ross would like to allocate me a random person to get a gift for I'm happy to do that and not get one in return, otherwise I'll shut up until the gifts are given and regret my choices.  I don't deserve to get anything but I'm happy to contribute to the spirit.

You’re all right, I’d thought that’s all that could’ve happened. And while that’s a nice thought in that you’d like to contribute to the spirit, by the time I saw your post it was undoubtedly too far into this Secret Santa to have undrawn names participate and to change senders and recipients.

On another note, if folk are able to message me if they've received their gifts that would be grand. I've had no private messages on here, and nothing on social media either. Maybe folks have updated Elfster to mark their gifts as received?

I received a mystery package in the mail, but that happens a lot as Mercy and I both receive various amazon packages from relatives back home. I actually think I may have not updated my address so I may need to ask my colleague who moved into my old apartment . . .

Apologies for not saying anything sooner, have had a busy few weeks and it completely slipped my mind to say I'd received mine over a week ago.

Opened my gifts before heading to my Uncle's this morning.

I think this is from Smurf as I got some Twin Snakes Haribo Sweets, LEGO Sonic keyring. Suicide Squad on PS5 unfortunately I do own that going to give to Craig tomorrow before we go football and possibly we will play some COOP.

Think might do another GGS Family Fortune but get the survey answers from a different source of the normal list a site has done or AI saying what's the best PS2 JRPGs.

Ah bugger, I'd searched all your "Yesterday I bought" posts and your games list and thought it was safe but if you can play multiplayer I guess that helps, actually bought it for myself at the same time because thr price was good and now it's getting offline support and has all it's content it should be pretty alright I reckon. I actually bought Family Fortunes months ago from a charity shop and hoped I'd get you in the secret santa because of it.

From my secret santa I got:



A Bluey Mug + Hot Chocolate and Marshallows set which will go nicely alongside my Peppa Pig mug and Lords of the Fallen on PS5, a game that absolutely wouldn't have been on my radar so I appreciate it as something to broaden my horizons.

Mine did arrive in time! I completely forgot I'd set up redirected mail to my new address.

Lovely haul. Delicious chocolate, some GBA games, an (unpictured) game boy keyring, some GBA games which I will give a bash and, to top of Ape Year 2024, an N64 mag! I'm gonna wait until DK64 gets announced for Switch and then savour reading that to get myself hyped.

Glad to hear that you'd received it! I'd hoped to get you a gaming magazine from the month you were born but all I could get my hands on were the ones for the microcomputers that I didn't think you'd have any interest in. So instead I found you what I consider the best issue of N64 Magazine they'd ever made, from twenty-five years ago this month. Whenever you decide to have a read of it, enjoy!

I'm glad y'all had a great time and got great presents, as ever. I'm really sorry to have missed out. The only SS I did last year was an office one where I got a Jack Daniels miniature despite not liking whiskey. There's so much to be said for a SS where people try, every year.

I was aiming for stuff that was definitely only released in Japan, and text-heavy RPGs are the kind of things that applies to I suppose.

Cheers for taking part! If the Discord channel grows, I’d maybe consider moving the Secret Santa to over there and hopefully get a bigger group of participants. Maybe it’s an idea to increase the gift budget a little bit too? We can address that next Christmas...but for now, we're done!
