| Films are great, aren't they? You know what else is great? Music. So how about a thread with our favourite music from cinema? Let's try to be mobile friendly and just link to the tracks as opposed to embedding them. I'll start. Honestly, I could have picked anything from that film, but I chose that track as it most obviously shows the inspiration Mass Effect drew upon when creating its soundtrack. |

| In which case, I'll continue. The lead theme from my favourite film - still sends shivers down me, over twelve years after its release. Hey, I know when I'm old!

| Oh, damn fine choice! I had this soundtrack on loop studying French a few years back. Comptine d'un Autre Été is my personal favourite from that film. |

| I like singing animals. Similarly to games soundtracks don't do a lot for me, but disney films have some cracking tunes. |

| Ok I could go a little crazy here but I'll try not too DreddGreat film, great soundtrack. It's electro punkery a little reminiscent of Red Alert 2 in places, very very cool. Order in the ChaosFavourite track off the OST, not much to say about it other than I AM THE LAW. Whole soundtrackPiIngenious film, ingenious soundtrack. Darren Aronofsky's debut (and possibly best) film with Clint Mansell arranging the score, featuring himself, Aphex Twin and Massive Attack. It's a mixed bag. Mansell does the first and last track on the ost: πr² and 2πr, both are unlike anything else I've heard before and they're something I need more of. 2πrJust over three minutes of the inside of a god's mind. Whole soundtrackMoonAwesome film, awesome soundtrack. Another one directed by Darren Aronofsky with Clint Mansell this time doing the whole soundtrack. Beyond words is all I can say, the video and audio go so perfectly together it's unreal. It's a genuinely moving film and just about transcends of any kind of label. Welcome to Lunar Industries (Three Year Stretch...)It's a little long, but it's the perfect end to it all. The build-up and payoff toward the end of the track is immense. Whole soundtrack - Phillips wrote:

| As promised, from Tonari no Totoro ( My Neighbour Totoro): Opening (ignore the subs please) The Huge Tree Ending Oh what the hell, here's most of the soundtrack. If something in here doesn't make you feel a little dewy-eyed, you haven't watched the film. If you haven't watched the film... shame on you. |

Same! I feel like I'm always listening to some film soundtrack out other. But I'm nowhere near as edgy and cool as any of you; here's my two most listened to tracks: This music still gives me goosebumps. When I heard it in the cinema, it nearly brought me to tears- and I was a 16-year-old lad with his mates. I felt like a group at a concert when the Beatles arrived... Who cares about humans when the real main characters have tragic stories told through music like this. |

Whole soundtrack Massive respect here - Moon has an AMAZING soundtrack. Although, I have to correct you and tell you it's directed by Duncan Jones. Another from me: Life of Pi, Pi's Lullaby. Very pleased this swept up come awards season, beautiful soundtrack. |
