| So an English logo has appeared for one of my favorite 3DS games. It isn't so much the logo that stood out to me but the fact that it says 2013 at the bottom of the screen.
Yes I have played this and can't understand the story at all so I'd be interested in seeing it in English. But seriously, despite the blatantly obvious sex appeal the game is incredibly addictive for a 2D fighter. I recommend it to anyone. Provided you aren't playing it in public that is.

| Isn't that an anime as well? The name sounds rather familiar |

Yes. There is also a manga. After making the original game they wanted to turn it into a franchise. |

| Ah yes, Senran Kagura.
I don't wish to be a killjoy, but I'm not sure if the English logo actually means anything. I noticed it back in February (or then abouts on the Nintendo Korea website), though it does somewhat mean it could be likely we'll receive a release.
To back up what Sentinator has mentioned, despite the heaps of fanservice, the games are fairly decent side scrolling beat-'em ups. I enjoyed my time playing Senran Kagura Burst, and Vita's Shinovi Versus was a good complement to the main games, excelling where the 3DS games fell short (namely, the one-on-one ninja battles. On 3DS character AI was appalling).
But yes, I would like to see a western release, as apparently the story's actually worth following. Its script was written by Yukinori Kitajima, of Okamiden and 428 (Japan-only Chunsoft Visual Novel that's meant to be quite good) fame.
Edit: now that publishers XSeed are Marvelous USA, it would seem a western release could be more likely... |

| @ sporkheadSince you've played Burst do the villains have an unlockable character as well? Is it Homura with red hair or what? I've only played the first version so I am curious |

| They do indeed (if you mean the long and arduous level you unlock after the final boss), I don't think it is transformed Homura though but that academy's sensei (is that right?). Can't really remember her well. Can check again for you when I next boot up my Japanese 3DS. |

It is the sensei in the first one so you are probably right. She is slow as a tortoise though. A localization of this would likely also include the villains so I'd be able to see what they are like. Ikaruga has always been my favorite as I like her elegant personality. |

| I'm surprised our boxart is more lewd than Japan's, for once.
I'll probably pick this up just to own it, really, and support the folk at Zen United who have been bringing over Marvelous AQL's games to this region (their team includes Geraint Evans).
Don't fancy playing through it again, though, especially when I can use my save data from the Japanese version to unlock some content in Senran Kagura 2, but I might just to catch the story, which was penned by a Visual Novel writer of some fame (I forgot his previous works). |

I actually asked a store if they were taking pre-orders for it months ago and the guy behind the counter claimed he didn't know what it was but I have my suspicions that he does. He laughed when I asked. Its also a shop that I frequent as well. You could always use the excuse it is for somebody else if you are feeling courageous enough to buy it |

| Looking at the spine, it seems they've retained the game's home menu icon from the Japanese release as well. The North American version was changed to something else. |
