| Guitar Hero Live with the guitar for £19.99 at Argos:

Even if that's the only new Guitar Hero that's made, that's surely worth a go at twenty quid? |

| Animal Crossing with two amiibo & 3 cards for £10, even if the game is shite seems like a good deal for the two amiibo alone |

| Somebody might like it for that price. It's very endearing in a way, but it's ultimately the dullest game Nintendo have put out in a long time. Those amiibo are really good quality though, and they'll come in useful for the New Leaf update in the autumn. But as for amiibo festival; just think, a characterless Animal Crossing game. |

If you can be sure that you're getting the Wii version with it, I'd say it's worth picking up. Otherwise, avoid it altogether. |

| GAME are offering double on trade-ins tomorrow. I've seen a few folk on Twitter saying that the PS4 and XBox One trade-in are rubbish and have been slashed overnight, but the Wii U prices I checked seemed all right. I'll hopefully get £28 for M&S Rio 2016, for example.
Mentioning this promo because there was someone here who missed out on the deal last time after they got to GAME a bit too late.
EDIT: A few examples:
Super Mario 3D World - £16 store credit doubled to £32 Pikmin 3 - £11 store credit doubled to £22 Captain Toad - £10 store credit doubled to £20 Mario Party 10 - £11 store credit doubled to £22
...they're all available on ShopTo for £16.85 for pre-order ahead of their re-releases as part of the Nintendo Selects next month... |

| Grainger Games are selling pre-owned Wii Us with Mario Kart 8 for £149.99.
http://www.graingergames.co.uk/consoles/nintendo-wii-u/g28041-wii-u-console-32gb-with-mario-kart-8
There's little question that this is the price it should be brand new off the shelf in 2016...but it's not, so this is probably the next best deal. |

| Amazon are doing the big thank you event at the moment which means a tenner off when you spend over £50, I've just preordered Arms and MK8 on Switch for £81 (I've got prime as well otherwise it would be £85) okay its not the best but Amazon has their price guarantee as well that when these hopefully drop to normal prices then it be more of a saving. |

| It sounds like Sainsburys are having a massive clearout of their Wii U stock. I've seen pictures and read tweets about folk getting the likes of Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Yoshi's Woolly World, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, Captain Toad, Hyrule Warriors and Kirby & The Power Paintbrush for a fiver each! I'm a bit gutted that this wasn't in the Sainsburys round the corner from my folks' house yesterday - they had loads of (actually quite good) PS3 and 360 stuff for a fiver yesterday, but it sounds like the Nintendo stuff is only just going out tonight.

| That's basically your Switch paid for if anybody can find anything. Most of the games they're selling are worth a lot more as trade-ins. I bought seven PS3 and 360 games yesterday for £35 and I should make £27 profit on it. That's a Pro Controller sorted. With the Wii U clearence, if you actually get enough stuff like Woolly World then the Switch could cost you quite little in 'real' money. |

I took full advantage on this and went to the big and small Sainsburys in town (went to a third but they had nothing) and bought 9 Wii U games costing me £45 which I took to GAME and got them to match CEX. I ended up getting £149 for them all, which went on a gift card that now has £380 on along with my £70 worth of deposits giving me £450 to put towards my Switch alongside a Pro Controller, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Limited Edition and also got the Wii U version on order which comes to £489.97 on GAMEs website. Leaving me £39.97 to pay on the day and that will be even less, as soon as I finish Res Evil 7 that will get traded in and go on the gift card as well, which at the moment is £37. Both Sainsburys did have loads of PS360 games but I couldn't get a signal on my phone in either store and wasn't sure what anything was worth that I left them, after looking now, some I could have made a couple of quid on each but nothing major like £17 a go on the Wii U games. |
