| Yes to 3 and Sunshine but a big no to Yoshi. It isn't much fun. |

| SMB, SMB3 and Sunshine are the last hopes for my faith in GNamer/ humanity. Unless you want me to put the NSMB games or 3D Land up for consideration ... - masofdas wrote:

I tried to do that strike-out thing but it wasn't working. |

| I can't stand Sunshine.
I'd like to nominate Banjo-Kazooie and Sonic 1, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles (S3&K as one game, not two). |

| And I remove SMB3 and SMB. Also any NSMB except U and 3D Land. Sorry gents.
I will contribute to the B-K love, though. |

| Banjo is a yes, the sonic mega drive games are amazing jay.
What about crash bandicoot 1 & 2, also the PS1 spyros. There's more classic like resident evil 2 but i know Andy go that sucks or final fantasy IX and Phillips go urghh a jrpg. |

| Seems the newest suggestions have been discounted, no point giving my opinion. How about Goldeneye (N64)? |

Tried, honestly, I did try to like them, but they weren't for me. I enjoyed the speed sections, but as soon as you slowed down I was turned off, too finicky for me. |

Huh. I wondered why I could walk through walls and why that lady screamed at me this morning. I won't comment on Goldeneye. It's a game I've only played once from a genre I don't like as a whole. |

| Nah. I owned Goldeneye, played it a couple of times, and it didn't strike a chord. No I don't like FPSes, but that was my first entry to the genre. Its first chance to impress me. It failed. |

| I spotted that a few forumites were talking about this thread on Twitter. I feel much the same way as some of them do. To be honest, I'm not a fan of how it's turned out, so from this point on I'll not participate nor update the original post. A moderator can do that if they like, but I just don't have the energy nor desire to keep up with the arguments. Bad times when NGamer can go from "The Nicest Corner On The Internet" to "Where Nobody Can Agree On Anything", if you ask me.
Feel free to carry on amongst yourselves, natch. |

| Have there been any arguments? It's all seemed rather light-hearted to me - I didn't think Buska really hated us all, or that everyone really thinks that Andyman's every judgement on a game is wrong (even if it is). Granted, I'm not a Twitterite and maybe people are more open with their feelings on there, but can someone quote me a post demonstrating actual anger?
I still think we're the nicest corner on the Internet, and that the tagline is heavily tongue-in-cheek. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

| I thought the disagreements were just a bit of fun, personally. I'm sorry if we've steered your thread off its original course though, Phillips. If it means anything, it's been my most-visited topic over the last few days. |

I have a feeling it might be a relative- a minor scuffle on The Nicest Corner Of The Internet can look like a big thing. That said, I've not been in the Things That Symbols You Off thread for a bit. |

| Things just went a bit off-topic for my liking, is all. I liked the original patter, but over the last few pages it's been more about slamming other people's favourites. I'll partially take the blame for that; it was me who added the 'Games We Don't All Like' bit in the OP. There are people here who look like they're more interested in adding to the 'Bad' list than the 'Good'.
EDIT: I should also add that another reason that I'm wanting to jettison it is because I just can't keep up with everyone else - posts are being made faster than I can update the OP. |

| I think it's more that there's very few games that are universally liked. I think people need to justify their reasons for saying no to a game, otherwise it becomes all too easy to just go "nah, don't like it". |

| Happy to do that: both justify my choices, and, if Phillips likes, update the OP from time to time. The "liked games", anyway. SMB3's angry sun never let me past, and SMB is, coincidentally, covered in a recent post of mine elsewhere on the forum! Guess where. |
