I have deleted a message and an account from this thread. I believe that the person who created that account knows that I do not like my real name being used on the Internet.

I consider that this has gone beyond a joke and into trolling. I don't think I'm alone in this.

I only saw the original @Sporkhead Twitter-type post quoted in my last post so I assumed it was just a joke playing on your dislike of Twitter, Balla. If it's been taken further than that, then that's not fair. Everyone has the right to internet anonymity and being able to maintain it is difficult enough without people using your real name without permission. That's not on, agreed.

Apologies if my post offended anyone. It was never meant to be malicious - I planned this joke as an April Fools on Twitter (SilverL will remember my tweets about this) - and yes it was to cheekily joke on Balladeer's dislike of Twitter but I forgot to carry it out on that day due to what happened in the comments thread and masofdas.

Thank you, Sporkhead. I understand if it was intended as a harmless prank. Truth be told, I became a lot more sensitive about Twitter after stumbling across the discussion about "the Masofdas Incident", going on "behind my back" as it were, so that's probably why I didn't take it so well. Apology accepted.

My post above, however, was directed at somebody creating an account using my real name. I presume that's not you?

No problemo, I did admittedly time my prank at a sensitive time, my bad.

Wasn't me, no - haven't been on GNamer until 10pm since I posted at 6-7pm.

Also I wouldn't worry about any conversations about forum happenings going on over at the Twittersphere, it's all just comment really. And we're all good mannered individuals.

Before I forget - I received an email about receiving a new PM on this account but logging in produced nothing. Was it important? I have a feeling the sender deleted it but I'd love to respond to it in case it was and I seem rude for ignoring it.

Edit: Apparently it was at 6:52pm, if that helps!
