I always forget about this game, but when I see anything I'm super hyped. The roster is looking like a really cool mix of monsters.

I'm surprised we've not seen any Rock Pokemon yet. Graveler would be ace for this!

The more interesting Pokémon (i.e. non-standard issue bipeds) we get announced, the more I'm intrigued. Chandelure is definitely a cool 'mon, very interested to see how it fights.

That's really cool! I honestly expected Pokkén to be full of fighting types and humanoid 'Mon, but this is shaping up to be a really neat roster.

Did see that Magikarp was a backup Pokemon which would be interesting

I would like to see the underrated chop fossil, Kabutops, in there if we don't have any rock pokemon

'tops is a good shout. Him and Scyther, finally settling their ancient bout over who is the coolest invertebrate with swords for hands.

See I always felt that Scyther got so much more love. It was often compared to Pinsir as well, who I feel doesn't get enough love either.

I think Kabotops would make an interesting character, because although it's predominantly a slice n dicer, the odd water move could also filter its way into his arsenal.

It really annoyed me in Gen II when Scyther got an evolution and Pinsir didn't. I assumed that was what Heracross was for quite a while.

Scyther sort of moved from being a Pinsir counterpart to having its own niche, with Heracross taking up the role it left behind.

Both were much better than Pinsir. Until it Mega Evolved, of course.

I'm rather hyped for this as playing SFV and getting back into a fighter and this being Pokemon also there's more content day one along with being able to play with you guys this could be great for MP.

We talked about a SFV league in the fighter thread and I did bring up this as well and why not do both like we did with SMASH football.

I'll definitely be all over this at release. Keen to play with y'all.

Being not bothered about TPHD, Pokkén is my Next Big Thing. Well up for it too.
