Yahtzee was a huge fan of the original Wind Waker, and it turns out that his opinion hasn't changed with the Wiimake.

I went through a phase of using goon quite a lot. It was around the time I was playing Goldeneye on the Wii because I remember calling them goons then laughing to myself because they actually were goons.

I agree with the concerns he has here - AC3 was horribly disappointing, so while I'm glad to hear this was an improvement over the last, my gut feeling is that the bits which were shite about AC3 will likely rear their ugly head before long and remind me why I was burned out on the series.

It's Wednesday, so it's time for a new Zero Punctuation! This week Yahtzee tears Call of Duty: Ghosts a new one.

This one had me giggling, especially at the burly white dude part. And my goodness does the wargame industry as a whole need to crawl out of the US' backside. How about a game set in the Vietnam War?

SM3DW is up next week, isn't it? Hoo boy. Either that or a launch-day special for one of the BBoPs, depending on Australian release dates.

COD: Black Ops was partially set in Vietnam. Can't remember how they handled it though.

There has been plenty of video games set in Nam.

Conflict desert storm on the cube was quality! especially in split screen co-op but I assume its probably aged pretty badly by now.

Vietnam wasn't on the same level as Desert Storm sadly.

I've still been watching these and this ONE cracked me up.

Yahtzee reviews Sonic Boom, complete with the best final exchange he's ever done.

And I'm still going to buy it and I'm actually going to play it, not jut put it on shelf like a lot of my Wii U collection then review it.

A game like Sonic Boom does make me wish I had a capture device, so I could record me play it and you can all see how bad it is.

It's been a while since anybody plugged a ZP on here (2014!?), but his CoDBlOps4 review is worth watching for the 'most insecure man in the universe' segment alone. Don't be surprised if we steal bits of that for taglines.

Man, I've not watched Yahtzee in ages! There's still nobody quite like him when it comes to verbally deconstructing a game. The part about AAA games shoehorning a battle royale mode into their existing franchises to cosy up to the Fortnite market rings so true.

I've never missed a episode, still great.

Yup! I was surprised to see so many folk lap up the CoD BR mode when it does nothing new with that mode at all, if you are going to do it at least put your own twist on it.

Now I've played PUBG and Blackout.

Blackout is basically the same as PUBG though a better verison of it, which okay isn't anything new (it does have perks) but it can get away with it, due to polish it has.

Probably not really worth arguing as I don't think anyone here is interested in it in the first place, but there's a pretty significant twist in that the shooting is good...

I found it to be a pretty well thought out and running mode and it's the first time I've enjoyed a BR, but hey, there's a reason I stopped listening to ZP as I don't need any extra snark in my life.

I was actually going to mention in my post that CoD is always mechanically very good but since I'm not into BR games I'd personally need it to do something out the box to interest me.

It does feel like bandwagoning a fad, mind you, and I don't know how successful CoD will be in pulling folks away from Fortnite. PUBG is a bit of a mess from most accounts, so I reckon that CoD will snaffle up some of that market regardless.

Hmm . . . I'm not ready to listen to Yahtzee again after reading to his shite, smug book a couple of months back.
