| I'm a 'Mars a day' man & always buy multipacks where the bars have been 59g. On Monday I opened a new multipack & they've shrunk to 51g! When did that happen? Even the individual bars on sale are 51g & the king size jumbo ones are just too big. |

| Mars are horrible anyway. I don't like Snickers because I'm not keen on Peanuts, but Mars are... yuck. Too sweet, I think.
Milky Way's basically the same thing only nicer. |

Milky Way's basically the same thing only nicer. Mars, too sweet? Boost bars. Now they're sweet. |

| Oh goodness. I had one of them, once, when the advertising campaign was at its height. |

| I hate the constant shrinking of snack sizes. It's really obvious too when they do it with crisps -- I noticed immediately when they changed the multipack bag size of McCoys from 32.5 grams to 30 grams (might have been 28 grams, can't remember), before checking the back of the pack to verify. Same with Seabrook's a year ago. |

| Eventually companies will have to shrink their Fun/Snack size bars because the full-size ones are too similar to them. |

| Two reasons
- Bigger profit as they're giving you less food. - Calories. Now less calories is considered a good thing, so they reduce the calories by reducing the size.

God, that can fuck right off. Nobody thinks chocolate bars are healthy, everyone knows full well what they're doing when they tuck in to a mars bar. If they read the bit that says "now with half the calories" and think ooh, that's healthy they deserve to die from chocolate consumption. |

| The worst thing about it is that it's absolutely perfect for them: they essentially get to advertise that the bars are smaller, and people actually like it.
It's stupid. |

| Sounds like going to McDonald's and getting a diet coke with your meal. |

| All the posters and stuff in McDonald's advertise salads and calorie counters and greenery and healthy wraps and so on, as if that was what anyone went in there for. |

The funny thing about that is that artificial sweeteners are also pretty unhealthy and are just as bad as sugar. |

And if you have the dressing with the salads, they've got more calories than a Big Mac. |

| Do they still do salads? Seemed like a silly idea and I've not noticed them recently. Fast food will always struggle to be healthy, even the greenery will likely be unnaturally preserved. |
