I've not seen many of the things mentioned in this thread. Everyone I talk to is regularly shocked when I tell them I haven't seen pretty much any film that isn't Disney, a Romcom, Superheroes, LotR or Star Wars.

I'm getting much better with TV Shows but I've still got quite a few shows I need to get around to watching, problem is being in the mood for them!

Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, The Wire...you name it, I probably haven't seen it. Like Balladeer, I'm not much of a TV guy. Likewise, while I've seen just about every film on Cube's aforementioned list, I've probably not seen all that much else.

I think you could split it between pre and post 2004 with what I've probably seen and what I probably haven't.

In terms of "big TV", I've not seen The Wire or Breaking Bad. I've seen a bit of Game of Thrones - basically every time I've seen it, two people have been at it, and therefore I assume everyone will think I'm some kind of fiend.

But I'm really not a film person. I've just had a look at Total Film's Top 100, and it's like "No. No. No. No. No. Yes. No. No. No."

TV wise, Breaking Bad and Mad Men really stand out for me. I'm quite good for films, but godfather could probably do with a watch and I haven't seen many horror films.

Star Wars.

Yep, that's about all I've watched that would fit the bill of surprising people to hear I haven't. If it ain't there and it's had a big impact on society odds are very high I haven't watched it.

I've watched A New Hope (a long time ago etc.), but none of the other Star Wars films. I've never heard of Mash.

Really?  Well it's this series I watched it here and there when I was growing up because the commercial channels here love throwing on reruns of these long series. Ten did the Simpsons which I never really watched and Seven did Mash. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M*A*S*H_(TV_series)

Ah, you omitted the asterisks. Even then, though, I've heard of the title but know nothing about the show, beyond the summary in that article

Out of Total Films top 100 films, I think I've seen 26/8. I've not seen the things like west side story that they have listed.

There's definitely loads of anime I need to watch. My experience is basically pokemon, digimon, Dragon ball and death note, with Elfin Lied and a few ghiblis chucked in.

Same here. All of One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto, "for starters". Also I didn't get beyond about episode 8 of Death Note, because I didn't want to watch 41 more episodes of The Adventures of the Most Horrible Person in the World.

I hardly watch any films. Last time I went to the cinema was to see Terminator 2 about fifty years ago. Last dvd I watched was the latest James Bond.

I neither a TV nor a film buff, so there are loads of things I've never seen. And I never liked Friends.

I actually only watched the first episode or two of death note, then went on to read the whole manga and watch the live action films. But haven't seen the anime.

I'm in much the same boat- watched the two films and read the manga.

Unlike some others in this topic I really do love films & TV they may even edge out games in terms of enjoyment.

Game of thrones, The IT crowd,  Breaking Bad, Naruto, One piece, dragonball, Pokémon films 4 and onward, Harry Potter 4,5,6,7 and 8.
There are a lot of other film I haven't watched but trying to list them all would make me feel far too uncultured so here's a panda instead:
