| I had a go at the demo. last night, and my enduring thought was, "this needs a second stick." Even with Target Cam., I found the camera to be unwieldy, and the other ways of controlling it mid-fight to be cumbersome. And I'm not planning to get a New 3DS, or a CPP, any time soon. I've not been entirely bought (or whatever the opposite to sold is in this case): I enjoyed exploring the lush environments, and there's not much else out next month. Also, games with time limits = . |

| Aye MH definitely does need a second stick, though as I've said before through lot's of practice I've grown used to mainly using the target cam function & when first starting out I think most people would have the same opinion about controlling the camera mid battle as you have but the more you play the better you will get at it.
As for the time limit in the main game you get 50 minutes per quest rather than 25 & I'd say running out of time is quite rare as you really have to make so many mistakes for that to happen.
Oh what weapons did you try out?

| Just the dual swords so far. They were a bit cumbersome: I think I'd prefer something that allows me to be a bit more hit-and-run. |

| Those are probably one of the least cumbersome weapon types in MH, I think your only other hit & run weapon choices would be Hammer, Long sword & the new insect Glaive but trying them all out is probably best as you never know what one you will prefer. |

| Screw Dual Swords, never liked them.
Hammer or Sword and Shield are probably the easiest in terms of movement and button usage.

| I hate SnS but I love DS. Hammer is probably the best for learners though. |

| I didn't mind the dual swords. Though when I fell of the dinosaur thing it became a bit more harder taking it down with just hacking then running and then so on |

How do you use that as I wouldn't mind giving it a go? Forgive my ignorance but what exactly is a demo code (full - part game?) and how did you get them? |

| You just redeem it in the e shop, it's basically a demo of 3 hunts & because you are downloading with a code it won't have a limited number of plays. (codes were handed via a club Nintendo promotion)

There's a guide here: http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/112/~/how-to-redeem-a-download-code - quite easy once you know how. Don't worry if someone else has taken that code, I've got a couple of others left. Just give us a shout if that one doesn't work and I'll PM you another! |

| As my 3DS's are kinda in limbo at the moment in till my New 3DS XL gets here, has anyone tried any of the new weapons and what should I maybe go for.
I'm a MH noob but what I have played is dual blades as I like the speed but would like to try something different also I don't know what you guys are using, as might be silly if were playing online and we've all got a longsword. |

| I like both of the new weapons but I'm going with the Insect Glaive which is pretty quick but you also have to work to keep your buffs going to make it the most efficient, since you haven't played MH much I'd suggest sticking with the weapon type you like for now until you feel you've mastered it.

| So started this afternoon,
Only done the first 3 or 4 training type missions from that this does seem more hand-holding compared to 3U on Wii U. |
