| You can just click "next" and it'll connect you to someone new - handy if you have no idea who the character is, and there's no shame in doing so.
You can save full conversations too to share them easily - here's another conversation with Gabe Newell (quite popular on Shamchat), although this time I played the role of an old-school text adventure game. |

| Since I keep being distracted by this damn thing, I thought I'd ask if anyone else is familiar with it: The SCP Foundation. For the uninitiated, the site is essentially a fanfiction one: the basis being, find unusual photographs, and give them suitably unnerving descriptions. The more clinical and unnerving, the better.
Here are a couple of better-known ones: The original (created prior to Dr. Who's Weeping Angels). Giant malevolent regenerating lizard. Stairs. Maybe don't read this one before bedtime?
So, yep, enjoy these (if "enjoy" is the right word). Anyone got any favourites? I quite like the Pied Piper's flute. |

| What the hell did I just read Balladeer. That is truly one odd beast. I glanced at all of them, but completely read the one not to read before bedtime, despite the fact that as soon as I finish typing this, I am going to bed. I just found them to be bizarre. I will get my daughter to read them and give me her view, but I don't think they are for me as they didn't register in any way. Still, Kudos to the people writing them, I couldn't do it.
You doing any yourself Balladeer? Perhaps you should start a thread and just get us to do some, for our own amusement? |

| Heh, the thought of starting up a thread did cross my mind, but I wanted to know if anyone's interested in that sort of thing first. I'm not doing any myself, no - at least, not yet... |

| I trawled through that site a while back. Pretty chilling stuff. My favourite is SCP-096.

| I really enjoyed them. I used to be very into Creepypasta but the wheat to chaff ratio on most of those sites was terrible. This seems to be pretty decent though. I imagine it could be translated really well into an XFiles type TV show.
Short but creepy. This one feels like a Star Trek episode waiting to be made. And this one is just funny. |

| This one is phenomenal. It takes a very silly, weird idea and teases it out with exceeding logic. That's my favourite thing in science fiction and fantasy, like Death Note's enormous chess game or James Roberts' ingenious exploration of Transformers. |

| That's a link to a random one, Drunka, although I did quite enjoy the one I ended up with! And I will admit to having thought up a TV show-like storyline involving SCPs and OCs. EDIT: Another random one. Reminds me of Playable Teaser, for obvious reasons. |

| Ah, that's quite clever.
What's also incredibly clever is this. Possibly my favourite SCP to date. |
