Yeah ill definitely squeeze in a round or two before the podcast. Be a good chance to practice recording Skype as well.

If we're playing we best make sure we've got each other's friend codes - that gubbed me a few times when Dusty invited random ONM gimps to the NGamer sessions back in the day.

Sonic & SEGA All Stars Racing does everything better - I feel its the game Mario Kart Wii should have been. Not many games really wind me up, but MKWii is part of that elusive club of utter s***e.

A shame Buskalilly was struck with PhillipsConnection tonight (well, it *was* Mario Kart Sunday), but otherwise I had a great time, I thought the final match we had was the best, since we all had the same interests in mind (and I feel smug for pushing both Dusty and Phillips into the icy sea of Sherbet Land).

After switching it off and on again my wifi worked fine but by then it was time to record a podcast. Definitely need to get another session in before ninty shuts it down.

It turns out I did give my copy of MK wii to my nephew so sadly I'd be out of any future race nights, guess I'll see you guy on MK8.

That was quite good last night! I hope we get it going again at least once before the servers close, and with more folk too. That said, I didn't remember it feeling so lonely. Voice chat is a must for Mario Kart 8.

Are there any other good Wii online games we could maybe give a bash before May 20th? I've currently got 117 (!) Wii games, so I'm sure I could play something else with youse.

Is anyone up for some games of Bomberman Blast? I'd love to play that online with you all before the servers get shut down, it was such a laugh when we used to play it.

On a slightly related note, Nintendo turned off WiiConnect24 and the Wii friends list ages ago, didn't they? I'm guessing that means no more MaBoShi ghost data being sent about...

I'm also up for more Mario Kart Wii games.

Yes to Strikers and Bomberman Blast. The only games I've played with you guys!

Strikers was great. I remember SD Downs back on the old place trying to get #1 position on the daily leaderboards and writing a brilliant blog post about it.

Strikers was especially fun when you scored over 50 and your opponent didn't quit. I even scored 100 in a match once, thanks to Boo.

It was the ol' teleport into the goals trick with Dry Bones that won me my matches.

I'd be up for both of them, I forgot Bomberman even existed and I love me some Strikers!

So anyone up for online matches this weekend?
