| Over the last couple of days, those of us fortunate enough to be following or friends with BasilPesto (i.e. Matthew Castle) on Miiverse have been deluged in "New Accomplishment" posts, automatically generated during his playthrough of Arkham Origins. I think Deus Ex might do something similar. They usually seem to take the place of achievements or trophies, where these would be on other formats, but I'm not sure whether NES Remix doesn't do the same. What are people's opinions on them? Mine may be slightly obvious, given that I'm setting up this thread. |

| Aye auto posts are annoying, worst I've seen are from sonic "put this item to good use" or Lego city with its "just posted a photo" Miiverse posts should require some thought at least.
As for NES remix 2 it does sort of have an auto post function for the championship mode, in order for your hi-score to be counted (ranked) you have to post it to Miiverse where it breaks down each score for each game.

| I'm alright with it, but I'd be alrighter if there was a way to auto-filter them out.
And really, if you're going to do Achievements, they're still better presented in their own list anyway. |

| I think you're usually given the option though aren't you? Not a fan of the infamous "put this item to good use" type but the ones that give you the option to at least write something beforehand aren't too bad. |

| If more people were playing the game/more games had auto-posting, I'd be more annoyed. |

| Agreed that an auto-filter would be good. Also agreed that "put this item to good use", and indeed the NES Remix 2 posts, are deeply annoying, along with the others. |

| Nes remix 2's aren't that bad, unless someone is constantly beating their top score & is making the conscious decision to post their score so it actually gets ranked in the top 100.
In fact since miiverse is sort of used to show off your achievements in games the nes remix 2's ones make sense compared to the "put an item to good use" as its showing off a high score for others to see/beat. |

| There's now a setting to turn this off, which is nice. |

I was looking for the option earlier but I couldn't seem to find it. |

| Miiverse menu or something? One of the new menus, anyway. And to reiterate from another thread, does anyone know how to stop "Yeah"s appearing in the Activity Feed? |

| All I am going to say is that I hate the idea of achievements and for developers to collate this idea into producing 're-playability' is annoying.
I don't use Miiverse very often but I like the way that it stimulates the user to produce their own landmarks in the game, like the pictographs on Wind Waker.
An achievement function would just streamline this experience and the posts would become similar and boring. |
