| My boss is a brilliant guy..
Though over the last week now I've been on nights again / still and now that I have a full weekend off I'm blood sick with something.. My chest hurts and I have a slight headache all the time and it sucks.. Especially since the states Anime con is on.. |

Part of my job over Christmas was performing as an elf in a Christmas Tree Maze. I'm moving on up! |

Sorry, you can't. (In seriousness, I'm preparing a presentation on the topic of interview techniques. As it's for S5/S6 school pupils it might be pitched a bit low for you for me to be forwarding on. Still, very quickly and broadly I'd say the themes of effective information-sharing, natural non-verbal communication, listening to the questions being asked and positivity apply across all levels of interviewing. Above all else, make sure you have enough specific examples to answer specific questions. I find the S.T.A.R. technique to be particularly effective and relevant in interviews and in interviewing). |

| I wasn't expecting serious advice, so cheers for that! It is an area I genuinely have problems with, more out of nervousness than not having the experience/examples - if I could stop fiddling with my hands during interviews that'd be a great first step. And it all seems like good advice, especially the STAR bit: I'll try and stop it from fleeing my mind at the first sign of adversity next time. |

The mixture of fear and vagueness touched off with the non-sequitur of Homer at the end makes me feel uneasy. Ahh, don't worry about it. Most of the events of the past few weeks/months are just pushing me and a lot of my colleagues closer to the exit door. And, Balla, hands in lap at all times. I put one over the other to try to stop both moving - it's a huge task, as I've got the family trait of doing a lot of talking with my hands. |

Now for some reason I have this image of you conducting an interview through sock puppets. |

| So this ad here has been removed from British TV because seemingly the BBC received complaints from a handful English viewers. Any of our English brethren offended by it? |

| Nope, I don't see a problem with it. But it is kinda unrugby as you don't seem to get rivalry like you do in football, you can sit anywhere in the stadium and have pints in glasses and have no hassle it's far more civil.
Ond i ddim yn bet ar cymru i ennill y 6 cenhedloedd gan fy mod wedi gwneud iddynt y ddwy flynedd ddiwethaf. Ond ar ôl canlyniad heddiw nad ydynt yn gallu ennill. |

| But it's friendly rivalry that the ad shows. I didn't get the impression that they were showing a fierce/ugly rivalry between the Home Nations. |

| Rather than have a cup of tea, I shaved my head and went on a royal piss - up four days in a row. Back at work tonight and not keen. |

| If it's for charity I have nothing but respect for it, even if it was a drunken act. I could never do that - like my hair too much, and the shaved look really wouldn't suit me. |

| The shaving was sober, I did it at work Saturday morning. Also, as well as being for charity it was something I thought about doing for a while. I quite like the look, gonna keep it for a bit. |

| Today at work I learned a new Australian phrase: "no wukkas". From "no wuckin' forries", itself from "no fuckin' worries". Oddly tenuous but I think I'm going to start using it. |
