| With that design, I do not blame him. Is the other one Audino? |

| Wouldn't you be unhappy if you were being eaten by your tail?
Neither of them look that great to be honest. Slowbro gets Shell Armour, generally considered all but useless; and Audino really needed a normal evolution, not a Mega. Another case of this gimmick of an idea replacing a much-needed proper evolution. Anyhoo, it's normal-fairy with Healer. |

| I think the biggest and frankly only important aspect of these reveals is that generation five is now officially getting mega forms. Audino opens the doors wide open. Speaking of audino, they couldn't have made that thing a fairy/normal to begin with despite how blatantly a fairy it is... why? As for slowbro, I would scream burn it with fire given how utterly revolting it looks but alas it's a water type. Instead I will say that Vorebro is here, and it ain't pretty.
But yeah, gen five megas, they're here at last! At this point I'm wondering, just how many mega pokemon are these two games adding!? |

I actually have half a box of flawless and fully raised pokemon thanks to hoard battles, rather than the old days where I'd just have half a team and then get bored and move on.
Can't say they're all that fun in the story however, especially once they start spamming accuracy lowering moves. You have not known true hell until you have faced a hoard of Spinda spamming teeter dance! I still have the ptsd from that battle, took almost half an hour for a level 65 fully trained bird of death to clear them up, the bastards just kept spamming it over and over and over and over again! ...or if you're trying to grind, and endless lots of hordes whittle your health down to nothing, like death by a thousand pokélashes. |

| Mega Slowbro is formally revealed. He's... actually quite unnerving. When the "Shellder" lifts itself up to reveal the tiny pink thing inside... EDIT: |

| With the Hoenn remakes about to come out, there should be a Stadium-type game on the Wii U, yes indeed. ~~~ I got a bit of stick on the StreetPass Manchester Facebook thread about them for doubting the authenticity of Mega Slowbro and Mega Audino. They didn't feel like Megas, to me - I should have remembered that I thought the same about Mega Sableye. |

| So many of the Mega designs are unmitigated dung that nothing surprises me any more. Mega Slowbro joins Manectric and Banette in the "MY EYES" stakes. |

| Mega Slowbro looks like a fanfic creation to me. Mega Audino would work better as a genuine evolution, or a whole new Pokémon (Audina, perhaps, à la Plusle/Minun or the Nidorans). Whilst it keeps the designers busy, it makes me sad. |

| Mega Slowbro is growing on me. It looks better in motion than in the stills. |

| Kyogre looks like it's perched on some bed sheets! And yeah, not feeling those bonuses. As far as the tins go I prefer the swanky standard boxes that are going to be coloured, and as far as the figures go, meh. I'm fine with buying a figure if it's a well detailed one, but if it isn't I can live without one without losing sleep over it. |

| Welp, now we know which Megas Maxie and Archie will have. And Mega-'Llade is long overdue. As to how they look, 'Llade is just fine, Sharpedo's conk is stupid, and Camerupt seems to have fused with a slug, so I can't agree with you there.
Of course, I still think that Megas are a stupid idea full stop. Another two Pokémon deprived of proper evolutions... |
