I believe Jay won the Women's and Cappa won the Men's.

Yep! My picks weren't even close & I had a good laugh when in the mens rumble one of my picks eliminated 2 of my other picks.
-----
I really enjoyed that PPV overall, the Woman's rumble especially was a massive step up from last years with a better selection of entrants. My only downsides were the tag match & slot they had AJ versus Bryan in.

Elimination Chamber spoilers:
I want Kofi vs Bryan at Mania now. The last bit of that match was outstanding.

I'll keep this reply in spoilers in case anyone else hasn't seen it still.
Spoiler:
Even though I was gutted to find out that Mustafa Ali was replaced due to injury the way they used and how Kofi performed was outstanding, I definitely want to see him in a WWE title match at Mania as well. I was totally on the edge of my seat when it came down to Kofi & Bryan, loved the part with them trading kicks (which was a wee Bloodsport reference maybe?) & how the crowd got right behind him.
I was even a bit choked up at the end when Woods and Big E came out and saw how important it was to them, if anyone truly deserves a run with the main title it is Kofi & I think it's the right time.

Never a bad time to rewatch The New Day's greatest interview.

They're so charismatic - they've been going for 5 years and they're still going strong.
A dream run from now to Wrestlemania would be The New Day vs Bryan, Rowan and a returning Harper at Fast Lane for the right to get Kofi into the title match at Mania. The man's been fortunate that Ali was injured and had to drop out, but Kofi's taking that ball and ran with it all the way.

I hadn't seen that interview before and it was superb! No idea how Kofi could keep a straight face when Big E and Woods were going into fits of laughter though.

How would you book Mania? and is it going to be 10hrs long?:
We're on the road to WrestleMania and after chamber along with this week's RAW & SD, got me thinking about the mania card (along with what I would sort of want as well) but also could it be stupidly long because
1. Main Event RAW Women's Title Ronda v Charlotte v Becky
2. Universal Title Brock v Seth
3. WWE Title Bryan v Cena, personally this is how I would get Cena on the card
4. SD Women's Title Asuka v Lacey Evans, Who else is there?
5. IC Title Finn v Ricochet
6. US Title A multi-man ladder match or something with Truth, AJ, Jeff, Kofi etc, I'd have Kofi win this sure it's not the same but still be cool
7. RAW Tag Revival v Chad & Roode v DIY
8. SD Tag Usos v New Day
9. Women's Tag Boss N Hug v Trish & Lita
10. Shane v Miz
I've got to 10 matches on the main card without HHH having a match who's said interviews how he's back in training and hopefully would be back for Mania plus DX are going in the HoF, Taker hasn't got a match, Cena hasn't got a match if let's say Bryan faces Ali at Mania. That you could easily have another 3 matches on the main card.
Pre-Show
11. Cruiserweight Title Buddy v ???, I have no idea who this could be especially at mania
12. Men's Battle Royal
13. Women's Battle Royal
Last year had 14 matches from the looks of it and all the titles were on the line which now we have another title with the women's tag and I've missed out HHH, Taker and possibly Cena that the card could be more like 16 matches, is that just too many?

Mania can get fucked if it's that long.

All I want is a nice 3 hour (and a half at a push) show where nothing feels like filler, oh & Kofi in the main event for the WWE title.

I doubt it will be 10hrs just when I was thinking of matches and could up with 16, that either shorter matches or even longer than last year which felt like it was 10hrs.

I'd probably end up enjoying this.
Aye, I think it's a known issue with Mania with it taking up like half your day to watch. Elimination Chamber was a breezy few hours - perfect length for a wrestling show. Give me an hour for your weekly show, 3 hours for your PPVs. Sorted.

In before the inevitable WrestleMania chat, did anybody else watch Rogue To Wrestler on BBC Scotland/iPlayer?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0003ntm
If you don't know, it's basically ICW hosting a Glaswegian version of Tough Enough. Sounds shite, but I was really surprised by how good it was.

I saw Rogue to Wrestler advertised - thought it didn't look up to much. Recommended then, Cappa?
I'm looking forward to Mania, but I might have to watch it in two sittings. Dreading how long it is.
I hope G1 Supercard is shorter, but that's got a stacked card too.

I think I'm sort of going to do the opposite and I'll just watch the G1 in the week lets say Wednesday when I've got nothing on but I might get stuff spoiled for me, waiting for that long.
Mania this year the brand wars crew are watching it together that the 7.5hrs shouldn't seem as long.

I reckon you'll get G1 Supercard spoiled - I can see a fair few title changes. Watch it on Sunday during the day instead? Mind you, if you're watching Mania live that is a LOT of wrestling for the one day.

I was really hyped for Wrestlemania until I saw how long it is. Think I'll just wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray, as I know my daughter will want to see the main event, but no child is sitting through 7 hours of wrestling! In fact, 7 hours would be great value for a DVD that would get watched countless times (she loves her some Ronda).

But where else will you get to see such marvels like Braun Strowman beating up some randoms from SNL, Asuka likely getting misused again and Hawkins and Ryder maybe winning the tag belts?

Takeover was bloody brilliant. The opener, Dunne vs Walter and the main event were all utterly fantastic and the women's match alongside Riddle vs Dream were good too. Get it watched.
