| I'm playing Wii games from time to time but, of course, Wii U games get more of a look-in. It does surprise me when a new system is not backwards compatible with the generation before - I suppose I'm spoiled as a primarily Nintendo gamer. |

| I've also played plenty of wii games on wiiU, I even went to the trouble of transferring some saves like Xenoblade to an SD card, BC is just a feature that would be really nice to have especially when a lot of folk trade in their old system for a new one.
I also imagine it wouldn't be too expensive to implement either & it makes the transition from one gen to another that much easier to take. |

| It would be better if we did have BC, like when my launch PS3 packed up the next PS3 I bought was a 60gb bot a slim as I wanted BC and I when I first had a 360 I used it with the OG Xbox to play system link but time passed and I didn't uses these features.
Also it's a weird thing to want as in till the PS2 came around BC wasn't a thing and in some cases with Wii U BC might of been bad as it's basically a powerful HD Wii where if they started from scratch would the current system be very different.

| I don't really see anything wrong with that, to be honest! Whether or not it'll sell is another thing, but there's nothing wrong with remaking an older title in their library. |

| I thought they were meant to be beyond awful, though. Although this is mainly based off N64's review of 63 1/3. |

| That's why I mentioned that it might not sell. I don't think there's anything wrong with a developer going back to an old title in their library, and maybe some modern polish can improve on a flawed title. |

| Hmmmm... likely to be rubbish but there's a bit of nostalgia there (not that I ever played any of them because of the reviews that Balla mentioned). I'll keep half an eye on it but let's just say that I'm not holding my breath. Next! |

| Not all of you on here seem to be fans of the series but there is rumours of port specialists Blue Point handling the Uncharted Collection for PS4 which could even include Golden Abyss along with all DLC. Some have even dubbed it the Master Thief Collection as it could have a vast amount a content for your money similar to MCC. |

| I would be interested in that, but I've only got a PS3 in the last year, therefore they're all mega-familiar still. Having said that, I'd argue that's true for any last-gen game that's been remastered. |

| It depends as if you did move from the 360 to PS4 then you can play these great games and see why most PS4 owners are down about Uncharted 4 is delayed.
I will pick up the collection if true as that's a lot of quality content for what will lively be a great price and the online likely to work as well. |

| Sony is at it again with God of War III coming to the PS4 in 1080p 60fps along with a photo mode to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series. It will be out July 17th in the EU and likely cost £29.99-34.99.
According to Sony's stats just over 50% of PS4 did not own a PS3, so as you can see a market is there but with the launch of NOW in North America & going into BETA soon here in the UK, those 50% that's about 11million (that's a bigger market then the Wii U) could be using NOW to play GoWIII.
A more understandable remaster is rumoured and that's the VITA title Gravity Rush which is very likely to becoming to the PS4 as the Korean age board have listed it and they did leak Unfinished Swan & Journey coming to PS4. The game is meant to be one of the best VITA titles but being on the VITA means not very many people would of played it and there is rumours that the sequel is a PS4 game now not a VITA game that having the first on the PS4 helps introduce us to Kat. |

| They're pushing it a bit with God of War, sure it's a bit older than most of their recent remakes but the series itself isn't all that, definitely not something I'd pay for again. |

| Its Sonys biggest IP after Uncharted, so makes sense to push before 4 comes out.
I'm not getting but hope it builds excitement for 4. |

| I guess you heard the rumours of Arkham Asylum & City coming to PS4 & ONE along with the rumour of Alan Wake coming to ONE.
Is there any of this last gen games you do want as after reading Drunka's Bioshock piece's, I really want a Bioshock & Infinite collection if I have to have number 2 I will but would sooner not like how Arkham Origins is isn't at the moment rumoured to becoming to PS4 & ONE as it's not the real game if that make sense.
Only others I can think of I would like is Mass Effect Trilogy, COD: MW Trilogy, MGS4, Uncharted Master Thief Collection, Burnout: Paradise, David Cage Collection which has Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain & Beyond Two Souls in (what ever happen to that as we know the trophies of the directors cut for PS4 for months), there might be more but I would happy just to play them on PSNOW.
On on Wii U would like Super Mario Galaxy 1&2HD with proper controls but I don't think that will happen now because of the 2nd being on Wii U as a download.
Oh and Crisis Core having the same treatment as Type-0 |

| Fahrenheit's already seen an HD rerelease on PC, so there's a chance that could make its way to consoles.
As for other remakes, I'll stand by my assertion that I don't want to see HD rereleases of games younger than 10 years old. |

| What about something like Crisis Core as that was a PSP only game and that like Type-0 would make sense more than a Batman Collection as likely you had it on either a 360 or PS3. |

| I really don't WANT any, however a lot of the games you've mentioned I would probably end up rebuying (think I currently own all remakes bar TLoU). I'm a sucker!
Edit: Thinking about it I really would like a Red Dead Redemption remake. If that bad boy could have a new lease of life on the new consoles (complete with all its brilliant online modes) I would be very happy indeed. Or a sequel... |

I typically don't mind handheld ports, other than the fact they usually don't translate to consoles having been designed around a portable experience. - andyman949 wrote:

RDR is my favourite Rockstar game - one of my all time favourites, actually - and I'd love to see them do more with the series. |

| I definitely would love a sequel, I just feel the first has a lot to give still multiplayerwise and I'd have to start again on PS3 (the online profile was saved to console and I lost my save) |

| There is a rumour - an almost certainly false rumour, mind, but that shows the desire is there if nothing else - that the forum's third-favourite Mario game, Paper Mario and the Thousand-Year Door, could get a 3DS remake.
Now, this puts me in a quandary. I bloody love PMatTYD, and have replayed it twice despite its occasionally long-winded nature. However, I can't see it working anywhere near as well on the small screen of the 3DS. As with other games of epic scale, like Xenoblade, it will work much better on a larger screen, although there's potential for some nice paper 3D effects there. Furthermore, two replays is probably enough.
Like I say, it's probably not happening anyway. But if it came out, especially with a few new features, I'd be torn. (Pun unintentional.) |

| I would not be torn - in fact, I'd be throwing paper with the correct monetary value at people on tills until they let me take it home. DIGRESSION ALERT: Stretched the paper idea there a bit. |

Almost certain that's fake - besides, I'm not trusting anyone again after the Rayman "leak". Also, about your Xenoblade point - surely Paper Mario is far less broad in scope than Xenoblade. I've not played it, but is there really anything with the scale of Gaur Plains or hell, any of the Xenoblade areas? I'd have thought Paper Mario would have been a really good fit on handheld. |

| It's less the scale of the environments (Hooktail and final boss battles aside), more the scale of the story. It wouldn't feel like it fits on a handheld. |
