That's a good shout though I've stopped registering all my games recently. --- I may actually finish off MGS3 when my new 3ds arrives as I hated having to use the circle pad pro thing. |

| I was thinking you might touch the fantastic KI:U again now that the controls might be better, even though there fine anyway. |

| They haven't changed the controls for it though as all the c-stick will do is make it easier for left handed players to play as they won't need the CPP, I also no longer own the game. |

| The criteria could be anything but every Nintendo fan and his dog believes they're Nintendo's biggest fan so people are bound to be unhappy about it. Could be worse like Sony and their London based store which nobody was warned about. |

| But Sony did the online quiz thing as well for everyone as long as you were on twitter during the time slot, but ibbster is mad he's write a email to Nintendo and planning to sell pretty much all his stuff & only buy used from now on. |

| Quite chuffed that my N3DS arrived yesterday, not played anything on it yet though as I am awaiting a 32gb micro sd card to arrive so I can do the system transfer thing. |

| Did anyone get an Ambassadors email offer to get the new 3ds? I've just seen mine in my inbox. Clicking on the link, I have no idea how to take advantage of the deal. But it doesn't matter anyway, with my Aus 3ds... Shame I like the Ambassador face plates. |

| You just follow the link in the email which goes to the Nintendo store .

I tested mine out yesterday (I played some smash bros & MGS 3d) very impressed by the super stable 3d to the point where I'll probably be playing everything in 3d again which I hadn't been doing for a long time, however it will take a bit of time to get used to the c-stick nub as I expected it to have a bit more give to it.
It's also much more comfortable to hold than the original 3ds as well as being a nice middle ground (in terms of size) between that and the XL. |

| I'm picking mine up tomorrow after delivery drivers and stupid rules. But have bought a 32gb card for it from work which was dam expensive compared to online sites but I thought I'd be using tonight, so wanted ASAP. I also ordered the monster hunter cover plate with the fish on (I guess it's for a fish) it, as I want mind to standout in the waves of smash cover plates. |

| This face plate? if so it's not a fish though that artwork does sort of make it look that way. Also where did you order that from? That's Yian Kut-ku a big favourite of MH fans, he looks like this. |

| He looks very different from the COVER plate and the Gif, yes it is the one I ordered.
I was originally going through PlayAsia as cheapest but postage was horrendous, then looked on YesAsia which would be free postage if I spent some more money so this might be the best if your looking at a few things but in the end got from a seller on eBay. |

| I saw that one and the felt one as well, there pretty neat. That when a New 3DS XL some sort of special edition (Majoras Mask Please) comes out, I think I will sell my Zelda XL now instead of the my New 3DS as the cover plates are cool and if you read my random thoughts on them as well could be cool collectors things. After playing with the system last night and this morning, I'm surprised how good it is over the Old 3DS. I've not turned the 3D off and when I tried OoT and you move the system for aiming the 3D stays stable. It's quick to do everything like I downloaded a demo of TheatRhythm Curtain Call due to bonus stuff in the main game but it took no time at all to download the demo. Also tried ResEvil:Rev and the C-Nub works a treat, everything does seem a great improvement it's just a shame we've not got something like Monster Hunter 4U out to really take advantage of it. I don't know what happened to the vote but I think most of us better change to day one buy |

| I love my NewXL, but I do wish I went for the smaller model: the screens are just too big. Fine for the most part, but most games are clearly designed around the smaller screens, and the touchscreen sees a big drop in usability. I actually find it easier to draw maps in Etrian/Persona Q with my thumb on the original 3DS simply because the bottom screen isn't so large. |

| Any of you's seen decent soft pouch/carry cases around? Looked about a wee bit but most I've found are too big (still want to be able to place it in my jacket pocket) or just the hard case variety. |

Is it the same size as the regular XL, Fronk? I thought exactly the same thing about the size of the touchscreen when I got my regular XL. In fact, it took me a good couple of months to accept it, but now I wouldn't go back. |

| The system is a tiny bit bigger but only by a few millimetres but the screens are the same size.

| You'll probably have the same experience as me then, guys. The XL is fantastic once you're used to it. |

| Same it's hard going back to a smaller screen on the New 3DS due how good the XL is. |

| The Nintendo Direct is tomorrow which we all gather the New 3DS will be date, and that date will be Friday the 13th of February. A few news sites seem to be a bit behind me with that news but thanks to them we now have this from a gamestop in USA I do like the look of that red xl which looks nice in a posh kinda away but we're likely to be getting the same Aus not the USA at launch also if those two games are launch games then Ohh and it's rumoured stock will be very tight They will be priced at £169.99 for the Small and £199.99 for the XL. I've got no idea on cover plates, cradles etc or if there's any special editions right away seeing both of the maybe launch games could both have a special edition easily enough.

| I'd usually Bargain Thread this sort of thing, but it'll more likely been seen by more here. Amazon France are selling the Monster Hunter 4 bundle for 229.99 Euros - roughly £180, thusly £30 cheaper than you'd find it on GAME. That's another game to be had for the saving - possibly Majora's Mask?

Works with UK accounts. I've ordered one! |
