This is getting a thread. The original GC was one of my favourite little games on the eShop (and I do mean little), so news of a 29th January release date excites me. With dinosaurs, horse-riding, and panda-riding all sighted, is anyone else up for this?

Really looking forward to this. Is it wrong of me to be craving a slightly meatier experience than the original Gunman Clive? As sweet and well-thought-out as it was, I've seen longer films. Nonetheless, a real treat, this will be. Fingers crossed it helps kick off a good year for the 3DS eShop, too.

As long as it's as much fun as the original, I'm in. Price will also be a factor.

I'm up for more of this as well, didn't mind the length of the original either as I don't often spend too much time on handhelds.

I enjoyed the brevity of the original. It was simply an excuse to replay it loads of times, and Duck mode was a nice little bonus.

I've never been much of a replayer - I'd rather have a more substantial game, play through it once, and get a lot out of it. Then, maybe a year or two down the line, I'll play it again.

Sadly most games these days are too long to replay, be it the length of the campaign or the bloated story sequences. This, I think, is where my retro love comes in: you can literally be stuck at some point in a game for decades (see 99% of the NES games I own ), but your desire to maybe do it this time and the immediacy of the experience makes you have another go.

I'd pay much more than that, I can tell you. Hyped! An amount appropriate to the scale of the game, but hyped!

Yes! I'm so glad they didn't get greedy after the success of the original.

It looks and feels much like the first one... mind you, I've only played the first level so far! You can hardly voice an opinion after just over 80 seconds of play.

Especially if there's a similar super-special-secret unlockable to match the one revealed at the end of the first game.

Jas is right: there are a number of different gameplay styles going on here. I approve.

| So much variety. I'm up to level 13, I think? And I've played at least three of what could be termed "set-piece levels". All great fun.
The basic gameplay's as solid as ever. I like the "travelling across the world" idea: an inspired way of giving us more level designs.
Also, riding a dumpy panda is something that more games should let us do. |

That was a particularly neat little extra. |
