| A Lego game with cars and roads and various other tidbits of awesome! I mean, who wouldn't want to blow a whistle and tell some blocky chap to give you his car for 'police purposes'? Is anyone else looking forward to this? If not, why not?

| I really can't wait for this! A sandbox game with innocent motivations should be right up my street. Seems much more exciting to me than your basic done-to-death LEGO franchise game. |

| Sounds much more interesting to me than your basic done-to-death drive-around-and-shoot-people franchise! Still not sure if I'll get it, but it's interesting, anyway.
Also would rather see the game's actual name in the thread title. That said, everyone will know what it's referring to. Personal preference. |

| It's an interesting experiment, to be sure! I'm not a big sandbox man, which is my cue to wait cautiously for reviews before committing. |

| I'm strangely excited about the add on content that comes bundled with Lego sets http://www.nintendo-nation.net/extra-lego-city-undercover-content-already-available/ probably because I just want to play with some Lego. |

| Can anyone who isn't J.K. Rowling actually afford to buy LEGO these days, though? I saw some LEGO Hobbit stuff out and about before Christmas, and the prices were phenomenal! |

| Not really no but I have more sense than money (that doesn't mean I have a lot of money). There is some really cool Lego about now though, there's a Lego store in Manchester that has all sorts of comic book, etc based Lego and I want it all. |

| The important question is this: will LEGO Iwata be a playable character? |

So Lego stores aren't just myths? I've never seen one in my entire [short] existence. I'm wary of buying the Lego sets as I'll probably spend more time with them than the actual game... |

| It's fairly new but it's a wonderful place, like a sweet shop only with Lego instead of sweets. |

| I still wouldn't mind a Lego X-wing but not enough to pay $120 for it |

| Our good friend Mr. Scullion has today informed us that the game comprises fifteen missions, the first of which takes an hour to complete.
What do we collectively make of this? |

| If they are long missions that do take a while it won't be so bad. But I'm guessing that there will still be a lot more to do from the main missions |

| With just fifteen missions they sound more like stages, sounds a little disappointing story-wise but sounds good in terms of length (with side missions too). |

| An hour per stage! I'm reminded of the lengthy levels in De Blob and its sequel, where you needed to sit at your Wii for a good long while to make progress. I suppose that's what home console gaming is all about but I may have to pick and choose times to play the game. Hmmm! |

| I think it sounds acceptable, besides if the main story were too long with perhaps 30 one hour missions/stages it may put people off trawling through it all again to find collectables and rabies. |

| There are apparently hidden objects, kits and characters up the wazoo, so a lot of the fun sounds like it'll stem from exploring the place.
Let's just hope there's more to see than there was in Crackdown on 360. |

| I hope you're all aware that this has now become the big Wii U game for Easter.
Christ almighty. Lego!
(I do have it pre-ordered though - caught it while it was less than £28 on Zavvi). |
