Hi all,

a) I'm surprised there isn't already a topic about this (unless my search borked up)
b) not sure whether this should be in WiiU or Nontendo
but

As someone who considers themselves a "grown-up", and won't even buy Amiibo, let alone Skylanders or Disney Infinity stuff... I'm genuinely excited for this; purely because of the bizarre range of franchises that are now interconnected - Smile Smile Smile Smile; they're (mostly) all things that could do with a decent video game, and, unlike Disney / Marvel / LucasArts, they're not being stuffy about legal pish and are quite happy - in fact seem to encourage - mishmashing characters and franchises together, which is what any 6-year-old would do with their action figures anyway.

Is it just me?

I think you put this in the right place as I think most of us would play it on a Nontendo system but there is a Nintendo version.

But on the game, yeah there is some cool IPs there but I can't into with amiibo being a thing and I would if I was going to pick up another toys to life go for Star Wars over anything as it's Star Wars.

Does it really matter where the topic goes?

Anyway yeah I'm excited for this as I do like the Lego games and with this going over so many different franchises I think it'll be brilliant

Purely to annoy Jas, I understand Doctor Who was officially announced as a franchise being 'in' Dimensions recently. The sight of the Twelfth Doctor LEGO-ily grinning away was somewhat odd. Grin

Did anyone ever get this, I've been watching let's plays off this on YouTube and from what people have been saying it seems good.

And I've got my new phone upgrade coming that I could part ex mine to cover the cost of the game.

Double Post

I did pick this up over Disney Infinty 3.0 because Star Wars like I said I wouldn't back in July as someone who's played Skylanders, Disney infinity and have bought amiibo from the 2-3hrs I've played so far this is the best toys to life game on the market.

Also I've not played a LEGO game for ages but they've always been decent, I would recommend this to someone like Zero who likes the LEGO games right away.

Whilst I am vaguely interested in this (most impressed to find the actual relevant people voicing their characters), I want a big break from LEGO games. Nothing's been the same since Undercover... Sad

This is linear which may be a put off that Marvel Superheroes & Avengers Assemble which have open worlds maybe be better in that sense but so far this has been really funny along with a decent story setup along with some cool it's the Joker.

Year 2 is coming and LEGO have nailed how to bring new content over as you but the extra story as LEGO not a new bundle like with Skylanders or Disney did.

Ohh and LEGO Sonic Love
