3DS bargains thread.

Amazon the winner as always in my race to get a good deal on the 3DS.

Got the White 3DSXL with Super Mario land 3D with it, plus bought Ocarina of time 3D (Never properly played it) All for the reasonable price of £182.42

Bloody hell! It's the Animal Crossing 3DS XL for £129.99!

I'm ignoring that TBC release date and have stuck in my order. Zavvi typically send me loads of discount codes, and I just used one of them to bring this down to only £116.99! Fingers crossed they honour the order!

You need to add this code to get it for £119.99 - VCUKZ100. Or like myself and Phillips have, add that code and a code that Zavvi send you to get it for £116.99.

Hope people reading took advantage of that XL offer, as Zavvi are now listing it as sold out. I don't think they'll honour it, but you never know...

Guessing that was a pricing error then. Brand new XLs on their own are £132, and a Monster Hunter XL with MH3U installed is £165 (based on today's Post-a-bargain prices)

Might be an idea to have a look at GAME's latest BOGOF offer. I've just picked up pre-owned copies of Steel Diver, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Pokémon Link and Last Window for less than £17 combined. GAME usually update these offers while they're going on, so keep an eye on it...

'Tis a stoater of a deal. I was a bawhair away from getting the Fire Emblem bundle for £160 yesterday, so I'm quite chuffed with myself for leaving it and waiting for a further price drop...which as it turns out happened less than 24 hours later. I've bought the silver one, and will be able to pick it up after work tomorrow. Ace.

Another hardware revision?

Unsure if this is old news, but the Blockbuster in the town I was working in yesterday appeared to be having a sale on more or less everything games-related. Particularly impressive was their 3DS selection: included was Art Academy and Dead or Alive for £7.50, Starfox 3D for £10, Ocarina of Time, Mario Tennis Open, Rayman Origins and Nintendogs for £12 and Rhythm Thief and Paper Mario for £18.

I picked up a used copy of Picross 3D on DS for £3.50. 

The GAME Sale is back on at, er, GAME. Whilst not as good as the one they had at the start of last year (just after administration, when everything seemed like it was 99% off), but the one in my local branch had literally all pre-owned 3DS, DS and Wii games in it, from a quid upwards.

The undisputed highlight was Super Mario 3D Land for £15, but there was plenty for a tenner that warrants a look.

Seen with my own peepers: Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, new for £1.99 in HMV. Wowsers.

I got that code working once, but didn't go through with the order. Then tried to enter the code again, and it wouldn't work, so missed out.

Project X Zone is currently £22.00 over on Amazon. Hardly a bargain by Phillip's mighty standards, but not too bad if you were thinking about it.
