| Can't say I am. As good as LM is I think I'd rather just take 2 for another spin. |

| I do want to be really enthusiastic for this but I'm not, somehow. Let's see if the fires of hype can be stoked more over time. |

| If on Switch, I may have been tempted even if it was an HD version and not something on VC but I can't see me picking up the 3DS for anything new and certainly not this. |

| I'm definitely up for replaying this, the second was a great fit for 3ds so seeing the original in 3d is going to be nice. |

| Jay made a good point during the Skype chat: this is another nail in the coffin of getting GC games on the Switch Virtual Console, isn't it? At least for a long time. I don't think I'd replay a straight port even on the Switch, sadly, but I do hope it has good 3D slamming open of fake doors. |

| I really like Luigi's Mansion, but I'm not sure if I'm keen for replaying it on 3DS. Unlike Balla, I'd be well game for this chairing a Gamecube Virtual Console on Switch, but that sadly seems to be a distant hope at this stage. Did they reveal anything else new for it besides the Boss Rush mode? |

| I'm all for it on the 3DS mainly to have both games on one system.
(Plus didn't people want it on the 3DS back when 2 was releases?) |

| I'd totally forgotten this was coming along after the 3DS's non-appearance at E3. Hm.
Is anyone still keen on going for this? |

| I've never played Luigi's Mansion, and I still enjoy playing my 3DS (if anyone remembers I've played Ever Oasis, Monster Hunter Stories and Detective Pikachu) - so yes, I think I'll give this a punt. Maybe then I'll play the sequel afterwards! |

| Oh, if you've not played the original version then this is a must have, I'd say. I adored the original game back on Gamecube. |

| Normally I'd have been all for leaving the 3DS out of E3 - however showing this off at Treehouse would have been better than the umpteen games of Smash they showed. |

| Nintendo still has a bunch of 3DS games to come and it has a huge install base still that I was shocked we didn't get a 3DS segment during the treehouse. |

| I'll definitely be getting it, I never had chance to complete the original due to my brother lending it to his friend at the time. |

Still, Mini-SNES in response isn't too bad a deal. |

| I'm in the great-for-3DS camp. The 3D effect should be a boon for the game coming from 2/Dark Moon, and the original's basic visuals would not scale up well to either the Switch's HD screen or the full-HD TV output in docked mode.
Just hope it's an inspired remake - the Bowser's Inside Story, WarioWare Gold and Superstar Saga remakes are almost release schedule filler. Maybe this will be closer to Fire Emblem Echoes in effort and execution.

| Cheers Balladeer! It feels good to be posting on a forum again.
As for Luigi's Mansion - I was just under the impression that a Switch version would be more like Twilight Princess HD - quick port job with sloppily redrawn "HD" textures. I'm sure it'll be a stunner if they properly remake it to modern standards, but 2001's GameCube version is best viewed on an old CRT to hide all the cracks and flaws in the model- and texturework... |

| If they plan on adding nothing to it bar 3D graphics and a throwaway extra mode then maybe it's best left on a sinking console, but is it too much to hope for Luigi's Mansion Trilogy on Switch? Hope not. |
