I doubt that will sway me one bit, not a fan of the whole "extra content" dick swinging contest Sony & MS seem to get involved in recent times....I'm always going to buy a game for the format I prefer which currently is ps4.

Also this so called extra content always seems to be tacked on & has no bearing on the overall experience of the game, its actually worse than DLC when I think about it.

Same but depends what it is, The extra PlayStation stuff for assassins creed 4 is quite robust you get to play as the girl from the vita game, she has about 4 missions which continues her story and expands on 4s story. So if I did have all three console's and wanted AC4 I would go for the PS4 version. But if the extra was a costume or gun that doesn't really add anything I would just buy the game on which console I prefer.

That's the thing though none of that is integral to the story of the game, not playing it won't ruin or improve my experience.

But it expands the story in AC4 case, which has to be good.

So Sony shown from decent stuff this morning from japan like a new grasshopper game and deep down in action.

So it turns out that down here if you didn't pre order a PS4 right off the bat you aint getting one until March now, which is fine for me as I planned on waiting, but the Xboxone funnily enough still has units for pre order.

My PS4 bundle has all changed because of Nintendo, I have about £600 to spend in November which was going to get me

PS4 killzone + driveclub £430 - £40 deposit = £390 + watch dog's se £55 + fifa 14 £55 + knack £45 + extra dual shock £50 which is £595 in total - £10 deposit of cod & battlefield brings me to £585 but now zelda 3ds and Mario world wiiu will take the £85 part more and likely.

So that leaves me £500 to spend on my PS4, GAME rang me this morning I turned down the £440 mega bundle (killzone, 2 pads, camera). I downgraded my bundle to the £400 killzone bundle as I can live with a psn+ version of driveclub but then i realized after it would cost me more to get that bundle and a second pad then getting the mega bundle, so rang back there sold out of the mega bundle.

So it's the killzone bundle at £360 + watch dog's £55 + fifa 14 £55 comes to £470 - knack, dual shock 4, cod & battlefield deposit's brings it to £450 (would of been £490 as mega bundle), so I can afford one more thing (unless GAME are doing get so & so for £30 when bought with the console).

So should I get knack but I have Mario so do I need two platformers, dual shock 4 in blue only way to get this colour is separately any way but I rarely need a 2nd controller but it's always handy, should i go back to the driveclub bundle (if I can get one now) or should i buy driveclub, do i need another FPS is cod or battlefield different enough to killzone or am i forgetting something the camera maybe, headset, years PSN+, keep the money, buy something else on wiiu , 3ds in November.

....& there is nothing worthwhile there and/or that I can't get on my ps3.

Seems like the wii U's launch lineup doesn't look as bad as folk made it out to be.

It's better than the Wii Us but still not great but no launch apart from the dreamcasts has been. it's what comes out in the launch window such a infamous is why to get a ps4.

Wii U lineup is leaps and bounds ahead of this in my opinion.

Aye, I wasn't impressed with the Wii U launch but this is just naff. We haven't got enough money for more than 1 game but if we did I doubt we'd be able to get many more than 2 or 3 at a push.

Yeah it is now but not at launch , the Wii U had ports at launch a muh mario , okay tech demo in nintendo land and awful survival horror.

The ps4 multi format titles should be the superior versions over current gen and looks likes it's going to have a decent exclusive in killzone, so imo better than the wiiu"s by a mile.

At the end of the day the multi format games are also late ports all be it slightly shinier than it's PS360U counterparts and the 3 best games are all FPS! Nintendo Land and ZombiU were at least fun multiplayer games if nothing else and NSMBU was pretty fun.

Nintendo land a "Tech Demo" & zombi U an "awful survivor horror" ????



TBH Masofdas, it sounds like your trying too hard to justify your ps4 purchase there.

Andy is right Nintendo Land was fun Multi Player it used the gamepad in some cool way's but that was about it. I'll stand by what I said about ZomibU, I've said before it's very much a marmite game, and I'm in hate side who would agree with gamespots 4 out of 10.

Yeah I am a little Jas, basically I'm doing the same with PS4 as I did when I got a Wii U, which you know from other topics on the site. I bought the likes of Call of Duty on that instead of PS3 or 360, because I wanted to play games on my new system and see what there like on it. So doing the same with PS4 only difference like Andy said they'll be slightly prettier then current gen counter parts, and if I'm buying a new console I want all my games on that. I would buy a PS4 if had know games at launch, because like every launch your buying it for the games down the road be it pikmin3 on wii u or infamous on ps4, not what's out at launch (unless it's the N64 or Dreamcast).

See I wouldn't buy a console at launch thinking about the future as there will probably be a better iteration of the hardware. I'd rather wait until there's something I must have the console for before I make the buy.

Well I used Pikmin 3 and Infamous Second Son as they were both suppose to be launch window games, not uncharted 4 or something as that could be year's of buying a PS4 for that would be silly. It's how long do you wait for hardware improvements etc, I'm doing what you said with the xbox one though waiting to titanfall.

I just feel that you went over the top with the "tech demo/awful" statement.

The point is wether you eventually liked those games or not they were definitely way more appealing (for me anyway) than what ps4 is offering for its launch line up, I buy a system for its games & currently ps4 has none that interest me.

Still don't think it's fair to call ZombiU poor because it's a "marmite" game too, I, in the end didn't really get on with it but there's no denying it's a top quality game. Then of course Nintendo Land has a lot to offer the single player gamer with high score challenges and various levels in certain games.

To me Killzone is the most appealing launch game out of the three consoles. Zomibu is not a top quality game it's a 4 out of 10 that's not quality.

31 Day's to go for us Europeans to get there mits on a PS4.

Reviews of games are starting to come out Assassins Creed IV is currently 81 on Meta and Battlefield 4 is currently 86 on Meta.
