| I like it! I haven't won a match yet but I did manage to come 5th. It doesn't offer any explanation of how to play it, but Nintendo Life's review talks through the strategies (there are options for speed, strength, hunter, counter... and there isn't a single in-game tutorial) so I have a very rough idea. It suits the 99 format really well and I can see myself getting more into it than Super Mario 35.
A lot of it is behind a paywall though - you can only do the default 99 match against randoms for free. You have to pay to play anything offline or to get different skins, etc.
I hope they do continue with the 99 model though. I saw a comment suggesting WarioWare 99 somewhere and I feel like that could be amazing. |

| I think I'm too scared to have a go! I think I'm OK at PacMan, and I don't think I could take the shame... |

| I'll try it of course but can't see it sticking as well as Tetris did for me, they definitely need to keep this going though, Wario Ware 99 would be amazing, the same Twitter thread which I'm guessing you seen it in also suggested Rhythm Tengoku 99, both of these need to happen. |

| WarioWare 99 would probably be the point at which I actually dived in, but I'd be a teensy bit gutted if that was the only WarioWare the Switch got! |

| I had a little session passing the pad on this with Matt the other morning. It's the only game I've ever found at which he's better than me, which makes sense because he's a boomer. |

| Had a few games of this over the weekend and I enjoyed it. Tetris 99 is probably going to edge it, but Pac-Man 99 is also very good. I don't really have a clue what's going on with the different targeting options and all that. But that's fine, ultimately it's Pac-Man with a little extra spice. |

| I also had a wee go of this last night and yep it's decent stuff, btw is there no way to spectate after you lose? That's usually a good way to learn a bit more with these 99 games and it'd be a shame if it didn't have it. |

| Me and Muss were playing this between Monster Hunter pods at the weekend and I was finishing in the top ten every time, top three most times. Went back yesterday and got my first Pac-One! |

| Nice. I still haven't cracked the top 10 yet. I think 12th is my highest spot.
There isn't a proper way to spectate to my knowledge. Would be nice if there was something like that but I doubt we'll see it as it was not in Tetris 99 either. |

| Oh I thought Tetris 99 did have that feature....I must be thinking of something else then.
I only played it for like a half hour and the best I've placed so far is like 26th or 28th. |

| I'm definitely better at this than I was at Tetris 99, but I'm still mostly shite at it. At least I'm cracking the top 30 with consistency this time round! |
