It's absolutely glorious. Obviously I'd prefer him getting mullered at a GE or actually prosecuted for the shit he's done, but this is a fine alternative.

What's everyone's thoughts on Twitter steadily imploding since Elon Musk has taken over?

I've not noticed any negative impact on myself yet as I've curated my timeline to a degree that none of the utter shite present on the rest of the site bleeds into my feed, but I wonder how much longer that'll continue to be the case.

I only follow a handful of people on Twitter (including amusingly one of Buska's football follows), and outside them worrying about Twitter imploding and where to go next, I've not noticed a difference either. The saga's been quite funny to follow because it feels like Musk's getting slapped in the face repeatedly and that's never not good.

As for Twitter itself, I've never been the biggest user, and I'm sure 2013 me (or around then) who was worried about it haemorrhaging users from the forum is having a chuckle. I have however discovered some good things through there, and it gives me a laugh. I don't think Mastodon has anywhere near the same simplicity to take over, either.

Be sad to see it go as I've been on it for ages, and how I find out how Taunton Town FC doing today for instance along with seeing new episodes of GGS going up & promoting Pod stuff etc

Twitter was an absolute festering fucking mess, but I would still rather someone fixed it, as opposed to a rich teenager that came in and made a load of edgy decisions because he's read how bosses should behave in pop culture. As the news has got steadily worse this year, I've oddly found it easier to jump into Twitter to see what people I respect are reacting to, rather than directly read the source.

Obviously it has a right cocknozzle running it (if you can call it that) but I don't think it'll actually disappear. Not fully anyway.

I'm only on twitter because I keep telling myself I need twitter to spread my podcasts and that but, like, it doesn't work so I might as well fucking jack it all in.
