| And this subforum I hope is an okay place to share! At the weekend I finished a stealth-puzzle game called URIMA:

I know some of you like the odd puzzle so I would love it if any of you want to give it a go! |

| This is bloody daft and ingenious. I needed the 'skip' help in the website though! It reminds me of one-dimensional light-based gaming that I saw at the recent videogame exhibition at the V&A, and I actually wonder if there's a way to host a light-based version of URIMA on a website. It wouldn't be as accessible, natch. Top work! |

| "Daft and ingenious" I couldn't ask for better praise! Thanks Balla! By 'skip' help I assume you mean collecting loot to 'dodge' past guards? It's definitely not intuitive, and that mechanic sort of happened by accident in that preventing that behaviour would actually be more work code-wise, but it also allows for some more complexity in puzzle design so I kept it. Did you get through all of them then? Light-based sounds interesting, can't picture it exactly but it does sound cool. Also if you follow the replies to that tweet I tweeted out a couple of extra levels and plan to do more. It's super easy to make new levels now the code is all in place as it's just typing in the address bar |

| Ah, this is a clever little game! Playing a game in the address bar of my browser was such a novel premise - I enjoyed it! It reminded me of playing an ASCII game. Thumbs up! |

| Yep, the dodge thing. I played the first few levels and bonus 1, but I'll come back to the others probably: they're nice and quick!
It's hard to explain what I mean by 'light-based'. Essentially replace different URL symbols with different colours along a string of LEDs. |

| Thanks Jay! And yeah Balla that would be cool, slightly more abstract in appearance might make it a bit harder (not that the characters look that much like the things they represent anyway ) |

| This is really neat, Mr. Rakoon - such a clever idea. Argh I can't do the last level! But I'm going to come back and keep trying until I do. |

To be fair I think that simplicity is part of its charm, almost Baba-esque in a way. I much preferred it to the light game! |

Argh I can't do the last level! But I'm going to come back and keep trying until I do. Thanks! It's not a perfect difficulty curve but puzzle design is hard It's definitely possible anyway! |

I concur (edit - about the puzzle design being harder than people expect - I think the curve was fine) |
