| Hells yeah!
Floody, Lelo, Max and Mary visited last year and they were absolutely fucked just climbing Fushimi Inari in Kyoto, and I was running up and down the whole time. Even my friends here who are kind of into hiking think I'm a madman. |

| Haha, I'll do my best to keep up. There'll be too much to see to rest I'm sure. |

| I'm having to be very careful about what I'm eating as of late and it's having a much appreciated by-product of losing weight, so I've actually set myself a weight loss goal for the first time in many a year to get below a certain weight by my birthday.
As for the reason why I'm having to watch what I'm eating, I unfortunately ended up in hospital recently with what ended up being diagnosed as pancreatitis. I'd initially thought it was just indigestion, but I had this crippling stomach pain that lasted for days, so I had to get into hospital to get it seen to. They couldn't 100% identify a root cause for what brought it on - the most common reasons are heavy drinking, which I don't do, or gallstones, which I didn't have - but it can be attributed to poor diet. I've never been one for eating well and that's only gotten worse during the pandemic.
So yeah, it's low-fat, healthy meals for me now otherwise my pancreas might stop working altogether and I'd personally like to avoid that. |

| Good luck with the new diet. Hopefully you can still be creative with the low-fat and healthy meals, and still enjoy your food. I’ve been trying to do the same. That’s meant more salads, soups and stir-frys, but unfortunately nothing that would let me revive the Snacks Review Thread. |

| Shame - I was looking forward to reading your write-up on Cappa's Caprese Salad. |

| I still eat like a maniac at the weekends, but I've gotten pretty good at eating a sensible chicken-and-vegetables deal for dinner and lunch on workdays. The hardest part with bth dieting and exercise is getting into the routine; once you're into it, it's easy to maintain it. |

| Ooft, Moyles. (With different emphasis from the last time I posted it.) I hope the diet's putting the stomach pains on hold.
I don't eat terribly healthily either. As a lazy chap who doesn't like sandwiches I've been a slave to the ready meal for too long, and I'm trying to break away from that to a degree - but it's mostly led to lunches that are soup with ungodly amounts of starch. Delicious, but not the best swap. |

Getting there. It's been a bit of a trial and error as some foods cause me real discomfort - I had some cheese for the first time since my hospital trip last Saturday and felt awful for hours afterwards. |
