Oh - that recent Sonic the Hedgehog music round you guys did in Game Game Show: listening to all those Sonic tracks with their lyrics, it reminded me... never to ever play a 3D Sonic game ever

I'll unironically use this thread. Sonic tunes are the best in gaming, there's no debate.

I'll second Cappa's statement up to a point: Sonic tunes without lyrics are unironically great.

That's the most 80s thing I've heard this year, for better or worse. I have however turned it down to 0 frequency in Smash.

While Sonic Lost World might be the most uneven game I've ever played, you don't need to be a cool dude or an edgehog to appreciate it's fantastic soundtrack. Seems appropriate to link the tunes that play in the snow levels.

I'm really not appreciating the lack of edgy Sonic rock tunes in this thread - posting actually good tunes was not part of the remit and I'm strongly considering deleting this thread unless someone rectifies this pronto.

Playing and really liking the long-forgotten Sonic Pinball Party on Game Boy Advance. There's roughly three billion GBA games about only about twenty of them have good music - and this is one of them!

The trouble with GBA games is that even the very best tunes are rendered slightly bobbins by the compressed instrument quality. Alas poor Mario Kart Super Circuit.
