| The game of the year released today, and it doesn't have its own thread?! This place has slipped. ~ Downloaded the demo earlier because why not, and I've already managed to break the game, I've been locked in a clinch with the coach for half an hour. A masterpiece.

| Oh I brought this up in the eShop thread a few weeks ago but didn't know there was a demo for this so I'll need to check it and see how broken it is, also your link isn't working. |

| So, just spent the last hour with the demo and it's so bizarre but I do sort of like it........though I think the price is currently just too high. I'd bite if it was a tenner.

https://twitter.com/Shaolin_Jaster/status/1349095997683585025 That scream has been used in so many of these MDickie games. I don't think I'd bite at that price because as funny as it is to laugh at the silly wrestling game, it's still ultimately a bit shit - although maybe that's the point - so it'll be one for a sale if at all. |

| This would need online multiplayer for me to bite. Its definitely something I'm going to enjoy more with other folk. |

| Aye, thinking back to the chaos of the older MDickie games, this would be a treat in multiplayer. NewLegacyInc on YouTube have a couple of Royal Rumbles recorded from these games, they get wild. Fake Kurt Angle detonating a bomb in the ring, eliminating Fake John Cena but blowing off his leg in the process kinda wild. |

| I saw an explosion on the demo the other day, not sure if it was dynamite exploding or a camera blowing up. Had a belter of a tag team match too: El Gigante and Eddie Guerrero VS Flyin' Brian Pillman and Memphis era Jerry Lawler. Triple H made a run-in about 30 seconds in to the match, followed by Billy Kidman coming from the crowd later in the match. Kidman originally came out to even up the odds for Gigante and Guerrero, before joining the enemy team and making it a 3 VS 2! He was still on the losing end though, I popped off about six powerbombs with Gigante to score the win. |

I can see this definitely being one of those eShop games that drop a 70 - 90% off sale shortly after release just so they can stay on the front page or high in the download charts. |

| I've got the demo downloaded but I'm nearly finished with WWE 2K Battlegrounds, so that'll do me for the now. I'm sure I'll get round to trying out Wrestling Empire before RetroMania Wrestling comes out next month.
Fair play to Jaster having his video viewed nearly 4,000 times! Yet "as funny as it is to laugh at the silly wrestling game, it's still ultimately a bit shit" indeed. |

I was shocked at that myself to be honest. |

| I had a few bouts over the weekend via the demo. It's about what you'd expect; silly, occasionally funny, and definitely not worth £20! |

Yup! I'd buy it for a couple of quid but nothing more |

| It's a shame that it had to come out during a pandemic because playing it in couch co-op was quite fun. Neither of us knew what we were doing and seeing bizarre things happen was all good. Single player is sad in comparison.
If I was releasing it, I'd have had the career mode and stuff like that available as DLC. Release the exhibition modes and a big roster for £5-10 as the base game, career dlc and the booking dlc £5 each. That way you can have the silly exhibitions on the cheap, and if you really want to get into all the other stuff the option is there to pick it up.
Think they've kind of fucked price wise, especially because they put out a demo that, even without all the crazy match modes, still packs a hearty dose of wackyness. |
