| I've got every SEGA home console, every Nintendo home console (except the NES), every Nintendo handheld, the three PlayStations, A PSP and a 360.
I'd quite like to sell a few of these off, but I can't be fucked with the sort of people I'd be selling them too. No fond memories of the time a trader offered me a fiver for Thousand Year Door and Double Dash!!...and wanted them delivered down south.
The N64 gets a respectable amount of use, but everything else might be played only a few times a year. |

Earlier generations of home consoles were bought as joint presents for my brothers and me. So I have part shares in these:
NES SNES N64 |

| Ho hum. Here's my list, all of which are around somewhere, not including re-models: Game Boy NINTENDO SIXTY-FOOOOOUUUUUR!!!!!! Game Boy Colo(u)r (unless that's a re-model? Not being too strict about the sense here) Game Boy Advance Gamecube DS Wii 3DS Wii U Not too surprising a list. I've also owned two GBA models (original and SP) and three DS models (fat, Lite and i). Only the 3DS and Wii U really get used, with the occasional spurt of life from the N64: I've lost my GC memory card, sadly. |

| my ps3 gets, most use out of everything due to the fact there's been nothing to play on wiiu. retro wise, mega drive and dreamcast gets the most play mainly due to the fact i have 350 ish games on them. |

| I was looking for a thread like this to check out who had a Wii U or not, out of curiosity. Turns out it only contains half a dozen posts. Mas, maybe you could remove the "retro" from the title? Most people's lists contain current generation consoles, after all. |

- A Gamecube, somewhere...
- A PS2, half knackered.
- A PS1, looking to build my collection of PS1 games though.
- A SNES.
- A GBA, although it's never touched because of...
- My DS Lite.

| Well as it's in the retro section, so why would we be talking about current gen. But could we move the topic to general or I could ad consoles to the collections topic. |

| Might be better off in General. Up to you. I think consoles deserve their own thread, given that this is a gaming forum! |

| I could share my Christmas Eve experience with the Wii, but I'd cry. And in my experience, people are happy to talk about their consoles, but less happy to ask questions.
But since you asked: Phillips CD-i. Did it have anything worth playing on it, or was it all weirdly animated Zelda and Mario? |

at the Madonna thing. My Wii decided it wasn't going to turn on on Christmas Eve. My main presents were Wii games. It was appalling. (I rather feel like is our equivalent of First World Problems Lady.) And the Wii U is definitely this generation. Proof: there's no console newer than it out! |

| Too tired to draft up a list, but it *did* remind me that I own a Pokémon Mini and E-Reader (not really a console, I guess).
The Mini is the ultimate in on-the-go gaming because all of its games could be played with one hand. I remember being hooked on Diglett's Pinball (or whatever it's called) and the Puzzle game (er, yeah, forgot its name too) that featured a bunch of tangrams. Fairly fun diversion, it was.

| If we want to go really retro on this, does anyone remember back in the 80's and possibly early 90's when you could buy an LCD handheld specifically designed for one game and one game only? And the features of the game had to appear in specific places on the LCD screen? I had a Sonic the Hedgehog one and a Disney's The Little Mermaid one (embarrassed at the girliness of this, I really am not one of these annoying squeaky types that spends her entire childhood wanting to be a Disney princess! ). They used to make really high-pitched tintune noises, similar to a Nokia 3210. I drove my dad crazy with them! |

Hell yes! I had a Tiger Sonic the Hedgehog 'console' and a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles one that was a beautiful shade of bogey green. They were both shite. A Game & Watch would've been a much better way to go. |

They used to make really high-pitched tintune noises, similar to a Nokia 3210. I drove my dad crazy with them! Those were such great timewasters! A friend of mine had a watch with LCD games on it back when I was a kid, and I'd constantly badger him for a go on his watch. It was strange. I still have an old Parachute Game & Watch somewhere. The brushed metal finish reminds me of the Game Boy Micro. *Sigh* (can we have something more premium for the next 3DS, please???) |
